On Sunday I flew back home from Japan. We flew over the Silicon Valley where we live. I was surprised to see Apple's new Spaceship Campus so big from 33,000 feet above ground. It should be ready sometimes in 2017. The current Apple HQ can be seen on the lower left.
Apple's new HQ is big - the building is more than a mile around, as big as the Pentagon.
Traffic is likely to get worse when 13,000 Apple employees commute to the new HQ. We live close by, our highway 280 exit is Wolfe Road, the same as Apple's new HQ. We might need to use another highway exit, we'll see.
I processed a balanced HDR photo from a RAW exposure, and carefully pulled the curves. The blue color is natural.

Cupertino, CA - “An integrated 21st century campus surrounded by green space”
Apple's planned new headquarters is referred to as “Apple Campus 2.″ The complex will be built on a 175 acre area near the 280 highway. The total building will be about 2.8 million square feet, will feature a 1,000 seat auditorium, a fitness center, 300,000 square feet of research facilities, a power plant, and underground parking. It is anticipated 13,000 Apple employees will work at the new facility.

Infinite Loop is a street encircling the six main buildings of Apple's headquarters in Cupertino, California. Each building has a number which corresponds to its single-digit address on the Loop, and so Apple's official mailing address is "1 Infinite Loop". The numbers increment in the clockwise direction. Employees often refer to the buildings as IL1 through IL6. The loop connects to Mariani Avenue, which was the former street address of Apple HQ

Number 3 Saville Row was once home to the Apple Corporation, owned by the Beatles. In 1969, The Beatles played "Get Back" here on the rooftop, until the police arrived and pulled the plug.
They now have office space next to the struggling Vallco Mall along Vallco Parkway. I think previously there used to be offices for Hewlett Packard in the buildings.
Looking toward Vallco Mall, more of the Apple Headquarters are to the right of me. This is quite a large road and it appears to not be used that much. Each year, the have the Cupertino Tournament of Bands, and that involves closing off southbound Stevens Creek Boulevard for the parade route, I think it would make more sense to just have it on Vallco Parkway, it would affect traffic less.
