The new crop of apples is being picked at Biersdorfer's Orchard in Guilford, Indiana. Famous for it's apples, apple cider, pear cider and ducks...there is a pond with ducks and you buy corn from the store and feed the ducks...our granddaughter loved it. At three it was pretty exciting.
Spent the day at the farm picking apples for our horses ♥ Buzz and Woody ♥ They eat...ALOT! Hopefully they saved some for us.

Have a wonderful week!
It's that time of the year again. Apple harvest time. There are so many and so many varieties. Picked a little bit of each and ate a little of each. The smell and taste of ripe sun warmed apples is unbeatable

An incredible apple season in Sweden. Our tree has delivered several hundred kilos of delicious Maglemer apples for jam, juice and pies.
I've worked with illustrator Chris Watson to produce a tea towel for Sussex Apple Day.
I'm delighted with Chris's final drawing which celebrates the many kinds of Sussex Apple, all with marvellous names.
The tea towel will be on sale at Hastings Seafood and Wine festival on 19 & 20 September, and at Sussex Apple Day on Sat 26 September in Falmer.
Also, it will be available from local shops, or direct orders from me.
