Yet another piece on contemplation on the "Eve" project I am beginning. I love the emotionless face in this piece, it's a playful composition on a rather serious topic.
Full Pink Moonset at Golden Gate Bridge. Unfortunatelly the low cloud blocked the alignment with GGB tower this morning.
I really wanted to pull out the light in this image. I created the bokeh and subtle texture myself on the iPhone, using the BlurFX and Stackables apps. #stackablesapp
Colours abound in Algonquin even on a grey and foggy afternoon. Here, Highway 60 curves around Lake of Two Rivers.

It's lunchtime at Marble Arch and the newest advert bus in town is London United's BCE47013, advertising Personal Trainer Courtney Black's popular fitness app.
There's been a bit of a lull recently in the bus advert department but hopefully more will appear soon as the covid restrictions begin to ease.

These lichen-encrusted granite rocks are typical of the Isles of Scilly where Rock Pipit is a common breeding bird. But living in the Pennines it isn't a bird I encounter that often. You can see this one has rather smudgy breast markings and dark legs that are characteristic of this species, although this adult is unusually white underneath. Rock Pipits also do the parachuting song-flight typical of pipits. About 36 thousand pairs of Rock Pipits breed in Britain, which may sound a lot, but is 70 times rarer than Meadow Pipit with 2.5 million pairs. Also Rock Pipits only breed on rocky coasts so they are absent as a breeding bird from the sandy/saltmarsh coasts of much of Lancashire, Lincolnshire and East Anglia (though they do winter in these sandy coasts and saltmarshes). It was just a pair of weeks ago, i do often have a walk at the seaside near Venice during spring and summer weekend, so this was a perfect occasion. We are about 10-15 km away from the ancient centre of Venice, the job season for bathhouses in the neighborhood is not started yet. So it was a perfect situation to catch a picture of desolation and anxious feelings at the same time, cloudy weather was the perfect plus for this moment.
So I used the native iPhone camera app, shoot directly in 1:1 mode to compose with more precision, waiting for my friends become so small near the horizon, exactly in the middle. Then I put the image on Instagram [my name there is Luca27379] with a soft elaboration in contrast and a bit of sepia tone.
