I'd like very much to apologize for posting images from a while ago but they were going to be posted before I too ill and were the one's that were shot and the one's I remember before getting sick. Today was the first Doctor I'm scheduled to see this week to see where I stand about getting back to start shooting soon, if it all goes like today it should be sooner than later, thank you all for everything, and you will all remain in my heart.

I first want very much to apologize for yesterday's post, and if I offended anyone or made anyone uncomfortable that was not my intention at all but felt it was part of the image and being a wildlife photo sometimes it is what it is. So that said I'm sorry.

Hello my amazing Flickr friends !

Today is a red day at Color my World Daily and we celebrate pins at Macro Mondays.

Of course: safety pin is my choice for this theme. I can’t tell you how many times a tiny safety pin saved my life. And I’m not alone in this situation, just ask MacGyver (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MacGyver), I’m sure this guy was saved more than once by a safety pin! So here we go: my picture shows my love and eternal gratitude for safety pins and their inventor !! Thank you so much tiny safety pin for helping me daily, keeping things together and not falling apart!

Hello my amazing friends !

Reading flamingos are the best subjects in my opinion. They are very calm and stay in place for hours. Maybe days (who knows ??) … They look like not doing much but in fact they are analyzing and memorizing every single word they are reading. The earth is turning, life of the universe is going on and nothing will disturb our reading flamingo…

Dear Flickr friends: I must apologize for my absence. Unfortunately, my health problems have been giving me more trouble than usual and I haven't been able to shoot. However; the other day, I was feeling a little better than usual so I decided to go out and try to shoot a little, especially since some of my favorite winter flowers were in bloom. Well, to make a long story short, I found that my aged Fujifilm XT2 camera had finally died. With that said, I don’t have the funds to replace it with so, it appears, I will be out of the photography game for a while... pending some miracle. 😔

So in closing, it has been an honor to associate myself with such esteemed people on Flickr. Thanks to each of you for your support and encouragement over the past decade.

Dear Flickr Friends, Kia and I would like to apologize for disappearing for so long with no news. It's been such a rough year! Kia has been in Italy since the end of September. She has been busy taking care of her mother after an urgent surgery with severe post-surgical complications. I have been busy with work and trying to help Kia from afar and visiting her as much as possible.

Hopefully things will get better in 2016...

First of all, I have to apologize to all of you, that although I have so many cats, or maybe just because of it (having 30+ pets is quite a full-time job) I don't post a photo on each theme of this wonderful group.

Well, here I find myself apologizing once again for not frequenting your streams. I'm in the middle of a short vacation, actually a "staycation" (which are grossly underrated might I add), and we've been experiencing some amazing weather...so, my Flickr time is taking a back seat at the moment. I fully intend to play catch up in the coming days.

I apologize if you had to wait for too long for a new letter. I have been busy. Last week my family and I celebrated Ostara. Granny pushes us to keep the traditions alive! Ostara is celebrated on the Spring Equinox. Granny and dad prepare a feast while my mum and my brother prepare the garden so we can start planting seeds. I like to sneak out and spend a few hours by myself. I am a bit of an introvert, and spending time alone helps me to recharge. I enjoy spending several hours reading a book and watching my pets as they play.

First and foremost I would like to apologize for the fact that my answers are currently taking a very long time. In the last few weeks I have been through a hard time. Mental illnesses demand all the energy one possesses. But I try my best to show you how important your comments, your encouragement and your support are to me.

People are always telling me to smile, like smiling is going to just take away all the hurt and pain. Well I’ve tried that I’ve tried hiding my sorrows and covering the sadness in smiles and what I’ve learned is that when it hurts this much inside your heart always has a way of showing it no matter how many masks you wear.

The truth is, we all face hardships of some kind, and you never know the struggles a person is going through. Behind every smile, there's a story of a personal struggle.

I apologize for repeating myself (from a slightly different angle) but I really like this scene and I'm quite happy to have been able to capture it in that beautiful morning light; nothing like hitting the streets of your hometown on an early summer morning of a bank holiday :-))

So I apologize for posting older photos so much lately with the old camera but I have been taking the time to go through them just to see if there were some goodies I missed. I like the perspective on this one and the tree. It is a little overdone probably but fun none-the-less. This was from a fantastic trip to San Francisco. The weather was cooperating at the time and I just happened to look up and see the following image and liked it.

I apologize for having been absent again but Tofu has been very sick with a gastritis. A week and five vet visits later he is beginning to feel better but isn't really in the mood for photoshoots yet and so he disappeared in his new cardboard box hideout. Box is an understatement as it is a two-storey cat house with a door and windows which I recently bought for him.

I've been pondering. If apologizing is human and forgiving is divine, why should I remain silent? I have always defended that women should not silence physical and/or psychological abuse. Emotional abuse turns out to be blackmail and leaves wounds much deeper than a slap in the face. Nobody is safe because I am not divine! I'm sick of shutting up and continuing to see human errors.
