I got the idea from Collin McLaren , thought it would be cool to make my own. I used @Yannick S technique for the cracked glass. Any ideas on how to improve it? I might make a tutorial on that shield if you want! Hope you guys like it!

Finding a focal point was always difficult when your governed by flat landscapes and dangerous weather conditions. Here I've blended two images, one an amazing Mammatus sky we had in Montana and a homestead in the Texas panhandle area
In it's dying breath Nature held no remorse.
Civilization had collapsed centuries before.
All that remained was stillness and the cool dry wind.
It will take millennia for the blue sky to return
and with the passing of eons man's impression upon this world shall disintegrate to dust.

This was the color of the sky in Los Angeles last Monday morning.
There are more than twenty wild fires burning out of control in California, not to mention those in Oregon, Washington State and Utah.
Evacuations are in process in several cities in Los Angeles County. It is getting too close for comfort.

il s'agit d'une réédition en lien avec le supercell qui est passé au-dessus de Reims il y a quelques jours. Il s'agit d'un autre il y a deux ans lorsque j'étais en voiture... au bon endroit... au bon moment...
This is the hood that covers the Hummingbird feeders. We had weather with 15 degrees and winds at 60 mph! The wind chill was incredible. The weather was absolutely brutal, and the Heated Hummingbird feeders kept freezing! Our solution was to cover the feeders with a fuzzy sock and add hand warmers (4 to each feeder). We also used a 15 Watt incandescent bulb (instead of the recommended 7 Watt bulb). I have six heated feeders (four are undercover). We had about 50 to 60 Anna's Hummingbirds during this cold snap. The winds were so strong that it kept blowing them off of the feeders. This is Thankfully, we are above freezing and the ice is melting we are experiencing a heat wave at 40 degrees.

I had been watching these cloud formations grow/change since 11:00, as I got closer to Kirkjufell / Kirkjufellsfoss at 16:00, they seemed to get even more dramatic.
This is the most dramatic cloud formation that I have ever seen and for it to appear at my last photographic location made for a worthwhile trip.
What a finale to the chase!
Note: I believe that this formation is an acrus/shelf cloud.
