We went to a restaurant (with an outdoor area) on Sunday evening - I can't remember the last time we went out for dinner : ))
Now it all involves a bit of effort and planning (like a negative corona rapid test), but it was definitely worth it ... back to a bit more normality !
Some of you might recognize this mixed drink. It always reminds me of our lovely vacation in Venice over a decade ago, where we saw Venetians enjoy this orange drink after work ... and gave it a try ourselves (without the working bit beforehand, LOL)

Mich hat es fasziniert, wie an diesem regnerischen Tag die Straßen innerhalb von Sekunden wie leergefegt waren, wenn der nächste Schutt kam. Aber wenn es wieder trocken war, wusste man das gleich zu nutzen - wie diese beiden Herren, die ihr Gespräch mit einem Aperol Spritz nach draußen verlegt haben.

Als Appetitanreger vor dem Essen oder als kühler Longdrink, der italienische Klassiker ist ein wahrer Sommer-Hit.
Der Aperitif „Aperol“ stammt aus der Region Venezien und wird desswegen auch Veneziano genannt. Die Bezeichnung Spritz sagt aus, dass der Aperol mit etwas gespritzt wird. In diesem Fall mit Mineralwasser, Prosecco oder Weisswein.
Für 1 grosses Glas (ca. 250 ml / 25 cl) benötigt man:
1 Scheibe Bio-Orange und 1 Scheibe zur Deko (vorher heiss abwaschen)
Mineralwasser
Aperol
Prosecco oder Weisswein
Eiswürfel
Ich mische den Aperol wie folgt:
Eis und leicht gedrückte Orangenscheibe ins Glas geben
1 Teil Mineralwasser und ½ Teil Aperol dazu geben,
1 Teil Prosecco oder Weisswein darüber giessen.
Die Mischung kann je nach Geschmack beliebig verändert werden.

As an appetizer before the meal or as a cool long drink, the Italian classic is a real summer hit.
The aperitif "Aperol" comes from the region of Venice and is therefore also called Veneziano. The name Spritz means that the Aperol is sprayed with something. In this case with mineral water, prosecco or white wine.
For 1 large glass (about 250 ml / 25 cl) you need:
1 slice of organic orange and 1 slice for decoration (wash it hot beforehand)
mineral water
Aperol
Prosecco or white wine
ice cubes
I mix the Aperol as follows:
Add ice and lightly squeezed orange slice to the glass
Add 1 part mineral water and ½ part Aperol,
Pour 1 part prosecco or white wine on top.
The mixture can be changed as you like according to your taste.

Como aperitivo antes de la comida o como trago largo fresco, el clásico italiano es un verdadero éxito del verano.
El aperitivo "Aperol" procede de la región de Venecia, por lo que también se llama Veneziano. El nombre Spritz significa que el Aperol se rocía con algo. En este caso con agua mineral, prosecco o vino blanco.
Para 1 vaso grande (aprox. 250 ml / 25 cl) se necesita
1 rodaja de naranja ecológica y 1 rodaja para la decoración (lavarla previamente en caliente).
Agua mineral
Aperol
Prosecco o vino blanco
cubitos de hielo
Mezclo el Aperol de la siguiente manera:
Añada hielo y una rodaja de naranja ligeramente exprimida en el vaso.
Añadir 1 parte de agua mineral y ½ parte de Aperol,
Vierta una parte de prosecco o vino blanco por encima.
La mezcla puede modificarse a su gusto.

... Aperol Sprizz, there were a lot of these drinks on almost every table ... I took some pictures of this couple and this bar scene. Two of them are combined here – I think that it makes it even more lively and supports the mood of activity that can be observed here every evening on the main square in Siena. ... Aperol Sprizz, von diesen Getränken gab es hier sehr viele auf fast jedem Tisch ... Von diesem Paar und dieser Bar-Szenerie habe ich einige Aufnahmen gemacht. Zwei davon sind hier kombiniert – ich fand, dass es dadurch noch lebendiger wirkt und die Stimmung der Betriebsamkeit unterstützt, die hier auf dem Hauptplatz in Siena allabendlich zu beobachten ist. Today I was on the phones for most of the day. Definitely nerve wracking but it wasn’t awful. By this afternoon my Epic was working so I’ll probably just finish the week in the call center then Monday I’ll be home at the health center.
Went to dinner with @urdiscarmela at our place. I only saw her once last week so I was very excited to see her face
Speaking of seeing faces, it’s been just about a week since you’ve seen mine but I just haven’t been feeling portraits lately.
The food can be hit or miss, but this place has one of the loveliest settings in town, with umbrella-shaded tables facing the greenery of the plaza.
