According to NASA, the moon will not be this close to Earth anytime before 2034.
"The moon's orbit around Earth is slightly elliptical so sometimes it is closer and sometimes its farther away. When the moon is full as it makes its closest pass to Earth it is know as Supermoon", NASA said in a statement.

It's never a problem finding somewhere to eat in Thailand. A common expression is, "Kin khang thanon" which literally means 'eat beside the road'. The street food is just as good as and in many cases better than any restaurant.
A rather common warbler found throughout the Himalayan Belt. We sighted them almost everyday much of the journey. I know now that these are endemic to the Himalayas.
These are small birds - maybe less than 10 cms and incredibly active in the roadside bushes, trees and clumps of vegetation. I love the color of these birds and they are quite agile. The birds feed on small seeds, tree insects like Spiders, caterpillars and berries maybe. We never saw them on the ground anytime and most of the time were shooting almost 70-80 deg upwards. Except onetime when we were overlooking a valley and got this shot!

My final image of the male Whooper swan on the lake at Tralee Bay Wetland Centre back in June 2015 (see my album below for the other photos). He & his mate are quite tame but wild & not pinioned so they could leave anytime they chose. She was sitting on a nest on one of the islands but sadly their eggs hadn't hatched. The warden told me they were a young pair so hopefully this year they'll be successful? Happy Wing Wednesday!
The perks of living in a big city
are plenty.
One of them ,in my opinion. is that you can go out anytime of the day or night and you will always get to see people walking, driving, living.. getting by and doing their thing. I sometimes find myself staring silently observing and making up senarios about their lives and shit. There is something soothing while driving at night though. Although you will get to see people around you feel the silence after a busy day, the city dressing in their night colours and gleaming lights guiding your way, letting all the stress of the day wear off and take the opportunity to breath. Turning on the radio and your jam starts playing and everything else disappears and you lose yourself in the music screaming your lungs out under the night sky and the city lights.
The Ojibway Prairie Provincial Nature Reserve can be found in Windsor, Ontario only 10 minutes from the city’s downtown. A great place to visit anytime of the year even on a warm winter day.

Even though this Lynx is housed in the Assiniboine Zoo Winnipeg MB, it is still very elusive to capture a shot or get a glimpse of this gorgeous wild cat! Anytime I try to capture shots of any animal in a zoo... I also try to make it look like they are in the wild.. Hope you like it!

Situated on the South East Coast of Scotland is the town of Dunbar, the town has had a castle and harbour here for many centuries, sadly the castle is no more than ruins as can be seen in the photo but it was once a formidable defence for the town from the sea. This photo was shot from the lifting bridge that crosses over the harbour area. I'd recommend a visit here anytime.
Anytime I get a picture of a little songbird doing anything other than sitting on a branch, it's just luck. That said, the secret to more luck is rattling off more pictures. Spray and pray.

It's always a good time for supermarket waffles, since the 90's up until 2023 and beyond! Whether doused in buttery syrup or eaten plain on the go (cue iconic Eleven in Season One of Stranger Things), any time is a good time for Anytime Waffles!

I only see one Curlew on the whole beach, probably because anytime one shows up he chases it off. I think the Curlew must have sonar or something, because he catches at least 5 times more sand crabs then his competitors, The willets and godwits probe into the sand, foraging for crabs willy nilly hoping they get lucky, whereas the Curlew seems to know where to probe into the sand, thus my sonar theory. Looks like the Willet got caught again trying to steal the curlews sand crab. He actually did get away with it in the end. Curlews needs to have teeth or something in their bill to inflict pain, so the willet is more afraid.
