This store that I visited like many rural antique stores was in a converted barn and had three floors and the lowest floor which is partly shown here for lack of better words had what I would call was "Man cave" stuff.

I enjoyed the high-key challenge for Macro Mondays so I tried this one with a hint of antique - I usually prefer bold colours but its good to have a change sometimes!

I found these old antique tractors in small town in south central Iowa. The light was right but they just begged for a little gritty texture to bring out their tones and their forefather status.
I love many kinds of antiques, including old books, and I use them often in still life photography. Most of these are well over a hundred years old with the big one on the right almost two hundred years old. There are three that range from 1911 to 1943. I processed this photo with Nik Software and used an oil paint filter in Photoshop to give it an aged look.
