Production time: 1953-1955 (11,800 units)
Diesel engine
Power: 29 kW (38.89 hp, 39.43 PS)
Top speed: 100 km/h, 62.14 mph
Fuel consumption: 6.1 l/100 km, 38.6 mi/US liq. gal., 46.3 mi/Imp. gal.
The reduced power of this diesel car, like that of the other diesel model in this line, the 170 DS, was indeed at odds with the upmarket image of the other, gasoline-powered 170 S models, "but no doubt both cost conscious company directors and upmarket taxi operators appreciated the >25% improvement in fuel consumption using a fuel which, on account of the tax rates applied, was already provided at a relatively “friendly” price in Germany." en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mercedes-Benz_W191
Car Spotting in Bogata, TX. I used just an itsy bitsy, teeny weeny, teeny tiny, little bitty, very small bit of Photoshop on this one,
This is not an AI photo. This truck really exists in Bogota, TX. It was such a comical truck I had to do something fun with it. The next photo is the original image. I had some problems so I went a little crazy...
The other day I posted a picture of an old abandoned Shell station in Goldfield, Nevada. I peaked inside the broken out windows and this is what I saw. An odd couple tucked away for eternity. The busted out windows made for some easy photography.

Anybody have any idea what type of car that is? The photo was in a box of photos from Oregon, but there isn't anything written to indicate that. It appears that the car is a Ford Model A Tudor. The Tudor stands for two door. They were in production from October 1927 - March 1932. They were $500 and came in grey, green or black. yrighord.sirv.com/Spins/Ford%20A%20Tudor%20Green%201928%2...
While the Hemi grabs the spotlight at auctions and shows on most days, magazines fawned over the balanced performance of the 340-powered 'Cuda in 1971. Steve Kelly, writing for Hot Rod Magazine back then, had this to report:
"The 'Cuda 340 is a far better-driving machine than either the 440 or 426 V-8-equipped 'Cudas, and at least equals the performance you might expect from an assembly-line-stock Hemi 'Cuda. Both of the larger engines cost several hundred dollars more, weight is greater, and the cost of operating is a little harder to live with than with the 340. Only the 383 and the 340 'Cuda are fitted with rear stabilizers, which does much to get them around a curve first. The 440 Six-Barrel engine will easily run away from a 340 'Cuda, but not enough so for it to be an easy contest. A 'Cuda 340 is such an appealing supercar that it demands comparison to its foes. This is still a supercar, not a medium-sized 'compact' coupe."
Three bracketed photos were taken with a handheld Nikon D7200 and combined with Photomatix Pro to create this HDR image. Additional adjustments were made in Photoshop CS6.

The Lotus Europa name is used on two distinct mid-engined GT coupé cars built by Lotus Cars. The original Europa and its variants comprise the Lotus Types 46, 47, 54, 65 and 74, and were produced between 1966 and 1975. The name was later revived in the Type 121 Europa S, a Lotus Elise-derived design produced from 2006 to 2010.
