Started out as an old pick I took of glass science beakers. Never did anything with it, just sat in the B stack...until tonight. Several steps back it started to remind me of the Nano World in Antman...ran with it and this is the result.
Did a lot of stacking in Photoshop. Stacked just sections of color and textures. Ran the whole thing thru Lightroom and that helped a ton for the dark areas.
The torso was painted by Jayson. The legs are modded Antman legs and the arms are black with silver details. The head is a Doctor strange head with a beard added and the hair is Anakin's

Hey guys! Sorry for another WIP but I almost forgot about this guy. I'm pretty excited for him! I have a lot left to do before I'm happy with him. The biggest being the helmet. I want to try and 3D print one but finding the right file is near impossible. I might have to sculpt the WHOLE thing myself. I have the stencils ready to go to airbrush on the face and other minor details.
Just thought I would share this with everyone. ALSO Ironman minifig standing on the foot for scale... this thing is BIG!

Yeah, these aren't super great. Two-thirds of them are simply yellow heads slapped on minifigures I had. I mostly needed something to upload...

For the month of January I love to participate in Jantmanuary on Instagram. It’s such a fun creative experience to place Antman in a 1:1 scale scene. I decided to do a theme to my Antman shots to compare him to a common sugar ant.
L to R - Antman, Captain America (Bucky), and Falcon.
Antman - Not much to say.
Bucky - Gave him painted arms.
Falcon - The black plate on the feet is just so he doesn't topple over. I quite like how this came out.

Unintentionally Giant-Man is blurry and out of focus however now that I sit back and look at at it it looks just like in the movie as he was growing.
I've held back on this scene to allow other people to enjoy this awesome scene which I didn't want to spoil. It's been well over a month now; enjoy!

I really wanted to make my own Ant-Man figure and knowing how good the movie was it was a joy to make this figure. And I also did want to try and do my best on an accurate Ant-Man helmet.
For the helmet it's LEGO's Ant-Man helmet and I used paper clips and glued them onto the helmet, there was also some green stuff I used on the front but the round part is from a sanded lever piece. I also have to say bending those paper clips was a bitch to do. For everything else, not really worth talking about to be honest it's basically all painted by me except for the parts that are obviously LEGO's official Ant-Man minifigure.

His helmet is a Antman helmet modified with green stuff. His antennas are Lego lever pieces and his mandibles are cut from a Lego Batarang.
His torso armor is from Brickforge and the wings are a modded Lego piece that was glued to the armor.
The pouches on his belt are cut from a Lego sword.
His gauntlets and the strap over his chest are made out of electrical tape.
His gun is made from a Lego piece, a small bit of Lego bar, and a Brickarms shell piece.
This was painted by me.
