another one of my iPod HiFi's. This one packs up easily for travel on the motorcycle, even without grab handles.
I was awoken 0230 this morning by a heavy scraping sound. Looked outside to a Renault Clio going past the window, thought it was being driven minus a tyre. Was actually this Almera getting dragged off the main road. End of the road for this one.
Marrakesh Melange was waiting for me when I got home, today! She doesn't have a name, yet, but I just thought I'd post a sneak peek.
I'm not feeling up to taking photos, leaving comments, etc., at the moment so apologies to all for my lack of interaction. Hopefully I'll have better photos of my new girls, soon! And maybe I'll even get some Barbie photos up at some point ;)
Another set of angry faces. Staring me down to finish the laundry. Just another take i think i like them having the bottles closer to each other.
Another screenshot of us on the Buzz ride. However, I think the computer screwed up, because I'm pretty sure I had around 115,000 points and Liz had about 85,000.
Another of the many "Bald Eagle" shots that I was privileged to get at the WBS. A really great place to be able to photograph birds.

Another photo that my husband had never seen of his mom. I'm glad they're finally coming out of the boxes!
Another taken on my break...this time I was focusing on the one taking a bath when another flew into the frame.
Another favorite spot and great old oak tree on Olynn Road near Churchtown Ohio in early May. This was one of the first days in weeks were it wasn;t raining and I didn'thave to be at work so I grabbed my camera to get some Spring landscapes
I finished the back draping, and two side panels with tufted sides as well as the fringe edging on the mattress.Still have a few more details to do. This work took me about a good 10-14 hours off and on.
Day 118 of 365 (Year Four)
Another day dedicated to hanging drywall. We didn't get as much accomplished today as we would have liked, but we did get a lot done. We framed out the bulkhead that goes over the return air duct, which took longer than either of us expected due to rather unique existing conditions, but we got it done and it should function perfectly.
After getting that done we made the mistake of trying to install the ceiling of the closet before getting the interior walls done. After failing at that, due to some existing conditions that were problematical, we decided to do the walls first. With the exception of the thin run that will be above the door, the closet walls are done.
By the time we go to that point, Bill had to leave. He had dinner reservations and needed to get ready. After he left and I picked up Savanah I figured I'd get a bit more done before dinner. I managed to get to long strait runs done. Getting the cut sheets of drywall up over what we had already done proved to be rather difficult for one guy alone. I got it done, but, with each sheet being over seven foot long and weighing over 50 lbs each and each needing to be lifted to the top portion of the wall, I'm now a bit sore and worn out.
The good news is that all that is left in that room is the bulkhead, the wall below the bulkhead and the small area above the closet door. Bill has also hired a guy who knows a bit more about hanging drywall than we do. He starts tomorrow and his help should move us along a hell of a lot faster than our current pace.
We've also decided to pull the receptacles, which will make cutting the holes for the boxes a lot easier. We've also decided to run the sheets in the next two rooms upright. We are thinking that just cutting off the top foot of the sheets and putting them up that way will move us along faster. It doesn't hurt that the runs in the next room are pretty much just straight runs with only one more closet to do.
I figure it will take us another two full days of straight work to knock out this phase of the construction. Then we have to tape, spackle and sand. There will be a bit of that to do considering some of the boo boos we've made in this room. Once it is all finished off though, it should look nice.
IMG_3977: Another view of Split Rock Lighthouse, taken from the lake-side of a small island that I suspect would be unreachable by foot if Lake Superior weren't so low. I'm almost done with the vacation photos, I think!
Here is another view of the falls we visited while camping in WV. Unfortunately, I didn't realize my camera was set on 400 ISO at the time I took this shot and so the water isn't near as smooth as I'd like. By the time I realized what I'd done we were almost ready to go and the youngest was getting anxious to get back to camp. I hate to think I'm getting to the age where I need a checklist just for taking pictures ;-)
Another example of this classic car make. I have only ever been in a Jowett Javelin, but i would have loved a run in this.

Another latte at Cafe-boulangerie Paillard on 1097 Rue St. Jean on July 20, 2103 at around 8:00 a.m.
This is my niece. She just turned 1 year old. I'm looking forward to another year of watching her grow and sometimes, even taking a picture or two. I'm back at work (sad trombone) but this is another short week so it shouldn't be too bad :-).
I want to get back into posting pictures more frequently... so I guess that means I'd better start shooting more in the first place.
This was taken with my 60mm macro lens.
