Voila a series of images reworked. Some of these images are years old. I "saw" something in the mind's eye and felt I needed to make yet another pass at this material.

After a suggestion from PerfectPictures2011 that I could start making animations I made this.
Each of the 18 numbered parts are separate and in an animation program would be able to move around to make the character come to life!
Now I'm not saying that I will commit to animating but if I did, does anyone know what program I could use to animate this character in?
This particular Fett was a white whale of mine for a long while. It wasn't until last summer that I finally tracked him down.
Both the kaleidoscope and the animation done using GIMP 2.4. Animation consists of 10 layers. View animation here

This is my custom made version of Transformers Animated Windblade. Pictured in jet mode.
She homages the fan-created character of the same name, but I've made her part of the Transformers Animated universe.
I'm quite happy with this custom and the response she has received. Details and about her background and WIP photos can be found on my blog: www.floatingcat.com/2014/05/31/transformers-animated-wind...

I made this shape by slowly stretching a thin layer of clay into a circular form creating a nice rounded shape. Next I enclosed a pocket of air by covering it with another layer of clay to serve as the bottom and cut the circle through and through. When I cut the smaller circle, I must insert a blade along the edge to allow some air to escape and I seal it up afterwards. See "pre-cursor" to see how I achieved this effect.

Here's a picture of two of animation's singing divas with beautiful flowy gowns and impressive hairdos Elsa from "Frozen" and and Chang'e from the new Netflix movie "Over the Moon" both voiced by two Broadway songstresses Idina Menzel and Phillipa Soo.

Before & After
I wasn't too satisfied with how I painted her face, so I repainted her eyes...making her whites more profound, and adding blue hearts to the center of her pupils.
Sold this doll back in January. Just forgot to post the photos (:
This short snippet of a much longer film animation was inspired by Aardman's Creature Comforts, it was made for Comic Relief 2011, by children from the ICT club I run. Copies were sold in school today for £2.00 each, and have raised £300 so far. The children interviewed staff asking an assortment of questions and then animated each as a different animal. The Head Teacher was a Lion, another a snake, fish, penguin etc...lots of work but also lots of fun.
If you enjoy this and not paid or donated PLEASE make a contribution to Comic Relief tonight. Thank you.
