I couldn't get a decent, sharp photo of the whole Alexander McQueen window at Bergdorf Goodman--her wings in particular kept fading into the window reflections--but I got this shot of the angel mannequin's face,

My first rose of the season....thank you, Glenda.

This is Angelface dress from the Pixie Rose collection, designed by Andromeda Raine, owner of Coconut Ice @ Butterfly Hollow. The hot pink color is breathtaking.

As always, Andromeda's clothing is sensuous but in good taste.

Thanks to everyone for comments and emails when I was in the hospital. You'll never know how much they meant to me.

Owing to wonderful care from Molly Rabbit and extremely cool, minimally invasive, robotic microsurgery by a geeky UPenn surgical team, I am doing far better than I would have expected, particularly for four hours of abdominal surgery.

The preliminary indication is that they got the whole tumor, though of course this has to be confirmed microscopically.

If not, there are still plenty of treatment options available. All's well.

Now I just have to make myself take it easy for a couple of weeks.

I wish it would.....

In Sommer 2018 plane ich einen Wurf von Continental Bulldogge aus der Verpaarung VG Angelface & Fifty-Cent vom Rosengrund.

I took a series of shots of this beautiful rose from slightly different angles. I've tried to post them at big enough intervals that they do not become mundane to the viewer. It is one of my favorite roses.
