Everything that could annoy on day one did, even my newfangled Sony SmartWatch 3 that was just too thick to wear comfortably beneath my Aerostich suit. So I expanded the band and tried wearing it outside. It's weather resistant so I wasn't too worried, and I was hoping that I could control my music with it (the watch connected to the phone via Bluetooth). Alas, touch controls were difficult with gloves on and on more than one occassion I took off the gloves and had the watch fall unwittingly off my wrist. Not wanting to lose the new toy, I called off the experiment. The excessive lint on the band, by the way, happened a lot when new but is much less just after a week of use.
We’re not going back to ugly smartwatches.
