Over the past year I have been taking this one same shot almost every weekday, mostly in the morning.

The theater, adjacent bar and Dime Savings Bank on the corner are closed and will soon be torn down (in addition to the dental office around the corner) to make way for an eight-story, 99-unit apartment building, which will also include 25 affordable units and a below-ground parking garage.

That day it had been so cold, yet blazing Sun and blue skies. I remember I had been on vacation. Forever taking time for myself during the frigid months. And I was coming from a dental appointment in Sunnyside, Queens. I live in Long Island City, Queens. Not around the corner. And after my appointment I remember saying to myself, you know what, I gonna walk home. It's only 2 miles. LOL. I'm big on walking. Why waste this beautiful day sitting on a subway
And along the way, I noticed this yellow wall from several blocks away.
