Baldwin's Pond to the right. Driving down N. Wall St. hill, in Meriden, CT
I haven't used Paint shop pro in a while, so I decided to manipulate an image in there just for fun.
Two days b4 Christmas.
The great thing about my Galaxy Tablet is that I can fit a plethora of virtual art supplies in my pocketbook. Paints & brushes, markers, crayons, pastels, collage, even a photography studio - all in unlimited colors and with no mess. (now if only I had some art lessons, hahaha)

Meriden, CT in January 2012 (64/365)
A pleasant winter scene after a small snowfall. The cellphone provided pretty good clarity with this image, after running it through some processing in both Photoshop and Lightroom 3.4.1.
Love my girl.

Just enough time to jump into position, before the shutter releases. Sarah has such a beautiful smile.
Samsung Galaxy S Epic 4g / Android / cellphone
Sarah and I took some snap shots using the self timer feature on the cellphone. She really isn't crazy about this shot, due to the fact that she's not smiling. But, I think the looks absolutely gorgeous and completely natural in this image, and I happen to love it. Sarah, you are so amazing and so very beautiful.
It's About 7:30 P.M. and We are so very loving together. I don't want this moment to ever end, Sarah. I Love You. We've got some pillows, and blankets in the back. Let's lay down for a while. I'll always be there when you need me, Sarah. I adore you, if you haven't not yet noticed.
I haven't felt this kind of passion in my life, ever since I can remember. I have gone from being down in the dumps, to being at the top of the world. I am so anxious for us to do so many things together, but realize we need to take things slow. You have completely changed my outlook on so many things, that I never thought were possible. I guess what I'm saying, Sarah, is that I'm in Love with YOu!

There are a lot of gravestones that are leaning over like this one, here. the cemetery is very old and I can only hope it wasn't due to vandalism. But still, there are so many interesting stones to look at here I need to take another visit and start a project called 'leaners' just for the ones that are falling over.
Samsung Epic 4G Galaxy S
I had fun with this one, using both Lightroom and Photoshop to manipulate, and finally found an effect that I thought would make the right statement. First was size. Should I go square, 3 x 2, 16 x 9 ? I finally decided on going 5 x 7. It seemed to do it justice. Then it was all playing around with filters in Lightroom and PS. So, there we have it. Shot with a cellphone.
If the shadows are pointing towards the east, that means, the sun was going down, in the west. So, it was an after dinner 'walk'.

I think the image came out very brilliant for being taken with an early generation Galaxy S Epic. I have been so thrilled to find this Topaz software that I apply to nearly all my images, Even if I use it at 25% or less, it seems to make a dramatic difference when I dial into the right settings. I can't say enough about Topaz, PS, and Lightroom, as I use a combination of all of these to get my cellphone shot look it's best. And there is so much fine tuning and re developing in Lightroom, before I finally complete an image worthy of posting.
A nice look up the hill on Meriden's East Side of town. The golf course is less than a mile down the road, called Hunter
