Source image antiques shot in first comment box, from myself.
The source image i combined with a selfie on the left, and on the right, a shot of a friend of mine in a hospital corridor, duplicated in part.
***Apps used are Painnt on Android Apps, done on my tablet. First Painnt to process the image and give it a more eerie look. Then i added in the corridor shots using Pixlr overlay function on my tablet. The Painnt filter i used is Hurricane, iirc. It gives a b+w effect. Painnt has on all their filters, the option to reduce the transparency of each filter,so the variations you can have are endless.

What he does First, is to force Everyone to show their true colours, what they are truly "made of" deep inside. This is very apparent these days, if you even occasionally glance at the news and especially the alternative news sites. No point asking me what is next, i do not know Everything:-)) But we are living in interesting times.Be Good, be Fair, be Sane, be Sensible, and you should be ok:-)))
Mister Apocalypse is not a person. It is an omniversal phenomenon.

Art from a big green leaf-like insect i found on my stove top the other night. I saw one of my cats intently gazing that way and spotted the poor thing. He had already lost one leg by then. It's a sort of grasshopper. He lived in the house for a few days.
Done on my tablet in Pixlr.
A shot of a friend of mine and my hubby, in a hospital corridor, heavily fx'ed with Pixlr app. We had been to eat out at our fave seafood restaurant. We stopped by the Medi-clinic to bring my oldest daughter something nice to eat. She was in for observation before giving birth to her sons, my twin grandbabies:-) A happy memory, this:-))

I actually prefer the original colours, which are blue and grey on a white background, but i wanted to introduce more colour and texture for the contest. I expect i will do something with the image in the original colours too, sometime.
Can view on large for texture if you like.

I really like the name Sow and Piglets. The name was, apparently, given by George Bass in 1798. The strait to the left is Bass Strait.
Somehow the christians got hold of the place and invented a new name. There were only 7 pillars of rock. Now there are 5. Not sure what that says about religion and counting.

I love to play with almost any picture I take with my phone in the Mirror Lab app. The challenge this week for the group "52 Weeks of 2022" was geometry, so round tomatoes fit the bill. This is just one of many creations from the original photo, and I think the variety of colors from my garden harvest looks cool in the penta spiral design. I added the decorative frame in the Flickr editor just to give the spiral a stopping point.
Here's another design from my bowl of tomatoes. I love how the white of the bowl made its own layer behind the multiple oranges in this one.
For the farmers of my country, the men, women, children and infants who have been slain, grievously tortured and brutally murdered in the past 20+ years, especially in recent years:

From an antique birdcage capture of mine.
Coffee stain paper texture from Pixabay.
For this image i used Pixlr on Android to merge my birdcage capture and the Pixabay text image. For some reason when i try to download png images on my Lenovo tablet,it never arrives as transparent. So i send some of my fave png's from my pc via gmail and intercept on tablet instead of my cell. Then i superimposed the png's and stylised using Pixlr.
I haven't uploaded my 2021 fireworks yet, so here are some manipulations from an old 2015 shot from my Olympus EM-10. These are from a mix of Android apps including Mirror Lab and Chroma Lab. I love the bright colors and neat abstracts I get from using these apps.

A picture expressing my mood.
I read "languishing" is the newly coined term for it:
"Think of languishing as the vast, meh-coloured desert between flourishing and depression, a general condition of non-thriving."
