Via the MissingLink Account Dashboard, you can set up the site to use Google Analytics to track the number of page hits, duration of stay, and other data. This can help you to monitor traffic on your ML site.

To set up Google Anayltics:

 

1. You must first establish a free account with Google at www.google.com/analytics/

2.

Add Website Profile. Track your MissingLink by adding a profile for a new domain

3. Please provide the URL of the site you would like to track (ex. alphachimp.missinglink.biz/)

4. Click "Finish"

5. Select and copy the "Legacy Code"

 

In MissingLink:

 

1. Log into your MissingLink account

2. Click "DASHBOARD" in the upper left corner

3. Select "Google Analytics" at bottom of screen

4. Paste the Google Analytics code into the text field

5. Click "Save"

 

Back at Google Analytics:

 

1. In your GA account, go to "Analytics Setting"

2. Check to see that your MissingLink web address is listed

3. Next to the webaddress, under the "Status" column, it should sa: "Tracking code installed Waiting for Data"
