Data Analysis Class Final ITS

Happy Tinfoil Cat mentioned here that it seems views on pictures follow a logarithmic regression. I was thinking it's a power regression, so I tried it out. I wrote a script to grab all the views on my images and graph them out. The yellow line is views. As you can see, it seems to follow a nice power regression until one gets to the end, then it tails off unexpectedly.

 

The script I wrote also gathered the # of comments on each picture so I did the same with those. Comments actually makes a nicer power regression.

The Becker Friedman Institute was pleased to host its inaugural Open Source Macroeconomics Laboratory (OSM Lab), which ran an intenstive and immersive seven-week computational macroeconomics boot camp from June 19 to August 4, 2017. The Central Statistics Office have made available a GIS dataset of Ireland's DED's, 3500 or so cover the country. This dataset can be linked to any data from the census by standard GIS software, allowing for the visualisation of spatial patterns.
