This is an image of a derelict house with large street art graffiti on the front which is an elderly person with their head in their hands. In the foreground, there is the house itself with the graffiti image over the middle window. In the background, there are multiple tall skyscraper offices/flats that are completely identical. The focal point is definitely the house as it is dominating the image therefore catching your eye. I think the colours and tones of this image are intended to reflect the mood as they are very dull and lifeless.
As this is a digital, colour image and by looking at the new buildings in the background a relatively modern photograph, I would expect this image to have been taken on a digital/DSLR camera as it is well-focused. I definitely think the photographer used a tripod due to the angle of the image which is rather abstract and may have been difficult to shoot free hand. I think JR has used good depth of field in this image which again shows how the main focus is on the house in the foreground.
The atmosphere created in this photo is very mundane due to the dull colours and content of the image. I think the photographer had this intention to make me feel this way as I think the image has a negative meaning to make you feel uncomfortable or to make you think about the reality of the topic. The mood of this image definitely helps the photographer portray the meaning as it has many representations in the image eg. The derelict house to the skyscrapers.
I think the image is showing how society has become much more capitalized due to the vast amount of new skyscraper buildings that are being produced and sold at extortionate prices. This is portrayed through the angle of the camera showing the traditional but decrepit house with the modern building looming over it in the blurred background. I think the meaning of the graffiti is to highlight how elderly people that have experienced the previous generations are very ashamed of us as we as a whole, support the idea of capitalizing the world. I think JR definitely had these intentions as they wanted to address the sometimes ignored topic and show how our society has conformed to revolutionizing our way of living instead of actually stopping and enjoying life itself.
This image has been taken by JR who is a photographer and graffiti artist. JR's work combines art and action and deals with commitment, freedom, identity and limits. This image was taken around 2011 in France. I think my view on the meaning of this image definitely coincides with the photographer as JR is known for using photography to address social issues in the world at the time which for this image would be the capitalist movement. This image was presented at an exhibition in Paris along with other images from the ‘Inside Out’ series which I think helped convey the message as there were more images to push the meaning forward.
I am studying this image in my project for ‘Discovery and Transformation’ as it links with my theme idea of discovering locations and looking more in depth about what is around you and at how one cultured area can have a vast different to another place and culture in this case, London and France. This image has helped me create new ideas for my project as it has made me think about incorporating social issues in the place I’m shooting into my images to help convey a stronger message.
Thesis Data Analysis is not just the act of analyzing data with the help of statistical tools and application of a few tests. It is the complete process, starting with data collection, to data cleaning and arrangement. It ends with the interpretation of the results of the tests and simplification of the same for presentation.

Part of an exhibition in a small museum in Madrid analyzing public spaces and plazas throughout the city. It looked at how useful the space was in sociability and design. This one got its fair share of use from people of the "Four Worlds"; homeless, prostitutes, etc..
Day 2 of the business analysis course am on & head is battered. Day3 is tomorrow which is followed by an exam by the ISEB. Am exhausted & not sure I can do another day to pass an exam but will give it a go!

The semi-finals didn't fail to disappoint on drama and the performances as the four contestants battled it out in the penultimate X Factor weekend. Even though the judges had no control over who stayed or who went this week, it didn't prevent more drama being unleashed.
Motown and songs that the contestants thought could get them through to the finals saw our X Factor social media infographics and analysis proved right thus far. Misha B received the fewest votes seeing the inevitable happen (and without sing off and the judges unable to save her, the positive Mancunian’s turbulent journey ended).

As guest Signmaker at the Monterey Whole Foods Market, I was asked to highlight holiday pies in particular for this 48" long hanging chalkboard at the front of the store. With my affinity towards cinnamon, I applied crimson particulate liberally.

In this shot the aesthetics of a sterilized environment couples itself with a tidy, rigid frontal frame. The product is a suggestion of order and precision. Such portrayal of regularity and emotive disinterest is further reinforced by the candid productivity of the three subjects present, and who incidentally, also happen to loiter on the thirds of the frame – the pillars of structural composition. Thought subtle, one can also see that the base of the image reveals the seams of a glass partition. This feature of the shot adds a layer of concept through what could be referred to as self-referential composition. Casting the viewer with the role of a voyeur or arbiter to the image’s events.

Side markers are not good. There are some details on the body that need work, such as fiber patches. Head light's rims are from a Volkswagen, need to be replaced.
Some finishing touches are no good, such as trims and weatherstrips. Trunk aluminum trim is chipped, one side is good, the other is made by some other metal piece that won't match.
