It happened so fast....a little creature sauntered by my eye...turned out to be a very young mantis, the smallest I've ever seen, about 1 inch/2 cm! Turns out it saw me too!
Sorry photos are not better but had to think and act fast, which is not my forte ... ;-)
An overview of Westernland at Tokyo Disneyland. The park was the busiest I had ever seen it in my three visits to Tokyo Disneyland. I suppose everybody wanted to see what the Christmas Fantasy was all about!

I used bounced flash for all these snapshots. Had my Nikon SB-600 speedlight hotshoed with a Gary Fong lightsphere attached. Makes for pretty easy wrap around lighting in quick snapshot situations.
This is An, works in packaging and manages all the boxes coming down from the boxing area on the floor above. Binh Vo is a gray hat (cleans up messes) in the boxing area and all the locker rooms.
Here's a picture I took of Binh Vo a couple years ago during an outside wedding reception. I had my D60 for about a month at the time.

An illustration by Daniel Rebour. Yes, Bernard Thevenet won the 1975 Tour de France with these components. These derailleurs first appeared in a Simplex catalog supplement which was printed in October,1972 - for the 1973 model year trade shows. However, they were not widely distributed at first, were very expensive (compared to other Simplex derailleurs) and were probably not truly in mass production for a couple of years following their official inroduction.
* This image was scanned from a copy of the book "Le Monde de Daniel Rebour" - a compilation of Rebour illustrations which was first published in Japan. This was originally published as 4 hard cover books with illustrations dating from 1946 to 1976. My edition was a single volume soft cover copy later printed from that source.

This sympathetic portrait of an elderly man apparently formed a diptych with a portrait of an old woman in the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. Rather than representing the sitters in a state of eternal prayer, as in the Portinari portraits displayed nearby, this panel and its pendant are secular works, created to preserve the appearance of the sitters for posterity.

While visiting the August 19, 2010 cruise-in at Tecumseh, we stopped in at J-Bar Hobbies on Main Street downtown. The friend I was with remembers coming here as a child. Just as then, there are many model cars for sale, and you just might be able to afford a Tucker.

17th Bn West Yorkshire Regiment were still in Leeds at the time of his death, they didn't go to France until early in 1916; so maybe he died in an accident of some kind.
Found this...
17th (2nd Leeds Pals) Battalion, West Yorkshire Regiment was raised in Leeds in December 1914 by the Lord Mayor and City, as a Bantam Battalion from men who were under the normal regulation minimum height of 5 feet 3 inches. After initial training close to home, they joined 106th Brigade, 35th Division in June 1915 at Masham, North Yorkshire. The Division moved to Salisbury Plain for final training in August. They were ordered to Egypt in late 1915, but the order was soon cancelled and they proceeded to France on the 1st of February 1916, landing at Le Havre, the division concentrated east of St Omer. They were in action during the Battles of the Somme at Bazentin Ridge, Arrow Head Copse, Maltz Horn Farm and Falfemont Farm. - See more at: www.wartimememoriesproject.com/greatwar/allied/westyorksh...
Put him up on here in the hope someone will come across him making a search...would have a look on Genesreunited, but you need to pay a subscription :0(
Anyway, It'd be nice to think we could somehow reunite him with his family...
I posted up in downtown Burlington, IA waiting for an eastbound with an eclectic mix of power the other day. After an hour, four back-to-back coal trains had gone through town, but not my query.
