I knew that I had a patriotic fireworks shot SOMEWHERE in my collection, but I didn't realize that the latest one was from my very first fireworks set with a DSLR back in October of 2011.

Even though I've only done fireworks 3 times last year (and none this year) I had better images to post, but this is a benchmark of where I was a year and a half ago, and it gives me a reason to stick out the waiting and the crowds so I can get in there and do this shot right.

Have a splendid holiday!

I've spent a couple of hours today going back through some old travel images. I wanted to see if there's anything I can improve with more modern software, techniques and improved skills.

These three images were all taken in April 2016 from the Top of the Rock in NYC, I have an earlier monochrome version of 'Looking Downtown' already on my photo stream. It's an image that has done quite well for me over the last few years, I'm hoping the colour version will be as successful.

Ford Fairlane, stood at the street this summer and was good looking.

When I was taking some of this photos, the owner showed up. A nice guy telling its story and he gave me permission to take some more photos =)
