My sister just received the books she published about the #nepali earthquake in 2015. She was at a school and had the kids write their story of that day. It will be published soon, she's heading back to #Nepal in July to take 40+ kids their book. They'll be so excited. #Book proceeds will benefit the school. #amwriting So proud of her. Ideas in the mind do become reality with consistent effort.
Charon's Coins, Part II: I felt pity for him. It suddenly became clear to me that he had nothing that he cared about in his strange life, except for those coins. The idea of him losing the only things precious to him while in my kingdom was something I could not stomach or stand.

Daughters of the Snake: For such a huge party, it was awfully dull. I yawned and wandered over to the doorway, peeking out. A few people were milling about, drinking and talking, probably just trying to get away from that horrible music. I couldn’t blame them.

My take on "Writing Thranduil". I will probably do the same thing for the other elves in the Trilogy. But this all began with Thranduil on a random day last year. Someone said I should write this. Against all odds and being a newbie in the world of book writing (scripts are my thing), I took a chance that has change me life forever. Not for the readers that like it (though I adore them for reading), but for finding myself in Thranduil and being able to use my writing to celebrate one of my favorite authors, J.R.R. Tolkien. He was my first fantasy I ever read. He gave me an appreciation for his world and the world in general. Made me see that fantasy and reality are not so different after all. I've loved every minute of all the pain, hard work, research and writing (500+ pages) I endured for the pure love of doing it. I love the fans and compliments but they wouldn't happen if I didn't love what I do. I adore what I do and I wake up every day wanting to do more and learn more. I am in love with what I have wanted to do since I was three years old. I couldn't be happier.
