The Butterfly Valley Waterfall is situated within the indigenous community of Songhe in the Guanxi District of Heping, Taichung, Taiwan. Nestled between the Tangmadan Mountain and the Eight Immortals Mountain, this picturesque natural wonder unveils its charm as the Songhe Creek originates from an elevation of over 2,000 meters on the Eight Immortals Mountain. Flowing through the valley, it cascades down a precipice at approximately 900 meters above sea level, creating the breathtaking Butterfly Valley Waterfall with a staggering drop of 20 meters.
What makes the Butterfly Valley Waterfall so spectacular is the graceful descent of the water, resembling silk threads as it forms layers of misty spray, creating a dreamlike and enchanting waterfall scenery. This natural marvel showcases the magical allure of nature, with every droplet of water contributing to a poetic and ever-flowing symphony.

As the Autumn climbing season begins, bodies are being removed on the mountain's Chinese side, which is to the north. Even though it is practically impossible, Death and Missing Body are still brought down from mountains like Everest.
