This hike was in the Bernese Alps, in the Eiger-Monch-Jungfrau mountain block in the Mürren – Schilthorn area . I think this is below the Monch, but could be mistaken. The hike loops beneath a rapidly receding glacier, as you can see. There are interpretive displays showing the shrinking extent of the glacier over the last few decades, it's truly surprising how quickly it's disappearing.
