I did this alphabet series as a photography project - trying to find letters in everyday shapes and objects that are not letters. As I did loads of sliding to get it as a mosaic hope it fits the bill for Sliders Sunday! HSS
Crazy Tuesday theme: a bowl full of crazyiness
In my bowl I have alphabet characters from A to Z. I shot this in the bright western sunlight just for something different.
Thank you everyone for your kind comments and favs. All are greatly appreciated. HCT
About a year ago, CP 8128, adorned in the latest railroad alphabet soup branding, was finally on a roll with 148 at Pewaukee. This was shaping up to be a sunrise arrival into MKE. And that's what I had set myself up for. But of course, "Plan A" always goes up in flames. Up ahead, 246 had derailed at Grand Ave, stopping 148 in its tracks at Nashotah for nearly the entire morning. Hurry up and wait! I almost threw in the towel. But with BTC's arrival, it helped ease the boredom. I'm glad I stuck it out because these early repaints already look like crap. My 2025 foaming started out strong in January and February and then entered into a long hiatus until July. Such is life when you have other priorities.

Cherokee Alphabet daze and confuse everyone! First, the Cherokee alphabet is technically not an alphabet at all, but a syllabary. That means each Cherokee symbol represents a syllable, not just a consonant or a vowel. More at: www.native-languages.org/cherokee_alphabet.htm

My generations's meme train wiggles north along a whole slew of fallen flag trackage. NRFF is a modern day beneficiary of how well the Reading has done in my lifetime. This train originates down in North Reading and delivers cars to the far north end of operations at Pittston Yard. There was never a direct route to go between Tamaqua and Pittston, until a couple years back. As you approach the CNJ overpass of the Lehigh Valley RR, the modern Reading was able to build a connection across the Lehigh River.
This spot is not far from the new connection on the old LV Route north towards Sayre, PA.

2023 Weekly Alphabet Challenge 12/52 ~ Leisure
I love baking and consider it a leisure activity rather than a necessity. Today's chocolate tray bake is a firm favourite of my grandchildren.

An AVR coke train crosses the Allegheny River at Millvale. The bridge in the foreground used to be a spur off of the B&O onto Herr’s Island/Washington’s Landing to serve the industries on the Island, a slaughterhouse included. Joint coke trains have returned, but they originate at Clairton instead of Monesson. The days of pool WLE-AVR-B&P lashups will likely never return, but with coke and billets giving opportunities for daylight moves, it could be worse

Shot(s) taken and contrived for Saturday Self Challenge 16/04/2022 -- Something which resembles a letter of the alphabet
Well off I go out to look and capture anything that looked like a letter from the alphabet . Great I found quite a few different letter shots , and not to waste them I have used them all except one for the "W" .
Loading an anagram app I found I had the above , I do not know if it meant anything - could it be self expression , realisation , or just the work of a chaotic mind ??
Just to run through the letters ------------
I The top of a scaffolding pole .
A The " Alpha " Bug Hotel .
M The top of some trellis fencing in my garden .
C The Spout of the kitchen sink tap , cropped and rotated .
H A rooftop aerial .
A The " Alpha " Bug Hotel .
O A nearby lifebuoy by a hollow that only ever fills with
water once in about 4 or 5 years .
S A section of a wrought iron fence .
And a sight & sound that is not in any better a place ----
