There is not much green far and wide in Venice in January. Rather grey and damp and in the midst of it all, there are flowers in all bright colours for sale at this stand. A contrast for the eye and soul.

During the storms of the fall of 2018, plus the high water levels in Lake Superior that year, this shoreline in Duluth, Minnesota was devastated. (Find a couple photos of the waves from one of those storms elsewhere in my Lake Superior album). The city has beefed up the rocky shoreline and rebuilt the boardwalk with a concrete knee wall.

A fleeting moment on the coast of Kamakura, Japan. This is one of those slightly ‘imperfect’ frames that I actually quite like. Not every photo has to be sharp or perfectly in focus! I do like how the cyclist, convertible sports car, and the ocean are all balanced in the frame. Shot from the famous Enoshima Line with the Sony A7Cii and Tamron 28-200mm.
An amazing reflection at Docklands in Melbourne. It was a very still night on the water which certainly helped to capture the reflection. I was happy to have the Banksia building/apartments in the photo as it is a wonderful design.
I have just bought a frame for this photo so hopefully I will soon have it printed out at 70cm X 50cm and put it up in the house.
The traffic can be heavy like this for a few minutes after the Aerial LIft Bridge raises to allow ships to enter or depart the harbor.

Tot i estar molt a prop no és un lloc al qual vaig habitualment, per baixar cap a Tor cal un cotxe alt i que el camí estigui bé. En aquesta ocasió vam fer una escapada amb l’Esteve i Ramon per la muntanya de Tor i aquest és un dels racons on vam parar perquè es veia que podíem fer alguna foto, com va ser el cas.

Lovely views across to La Graciosa from El Mirador del Rio, Lanzarote. The sky was really nice this day as sometimes there aren´t any clouds and last time I went it was very hazy. Canary Islands:)
La zona del balneari de Panticosa, diria que és molt guapa, però no ho sé del cert, perquè va estar tapat i plovent quasi tot el dia i no vaig poder-ho veure tot clarament, ara, clar amb aquest ambient els trossets que anaves veient semblaven molt interessants. En aquesta foto el contrast de textura i de color, és el que em crida l’atenció.

A spectacular sunset last week after many dull evening skies. I could see the light reflecting off the wall near our kitchen so I ran upstairs to take a few photos. This was the sunset at its peak moment.
The cooler months can bring some amazing skies but like many landscape moments, the light can only appear for a few minutes, then it is gone.
Lots of stars visible in the North. Just experimenting really with the Sony 24mm f/1.4 GM @ 1.4. It really does capture a lot of stars!
Un altre de les fotos fetes des de la finestra de casa, clar les composicions són molt limitades i calen condicions adequades, però de tant en tant es pot fer alguna foto interessant si tenim les condicions adequades. En aquest cas teníem una nevada amb ràfegues de vent que s’enduia la neu que anava caient. Estava sense el trípode així que no podia fer una composició fixa i la velocitat amb els 400mm havia de ser elevada per no tenir trepidació, així que vaig posar la velocitat alta i la iso automàtica per no tenir problemes, i vaig anar fent vàries fotos. El problema el vaig tenir també amb l’enfocament, ja que amb la neu i vent no era gens fàcil enfocar a la distància i molts cops no ho aconseguia. Al final, vaig poder fer algunes fotos, aquesta potser és la que més m’agrada, ja que tenim un joc de línies diagonals contraposades, la que fan els arbres i donen profunditat a la foto i les del vent amb la neu que estan en la diagonal contrària.

It was a very overcast day and as I was walking back to the car I saw this colourful blue van driving along. It made a nice contrast to the volcanic backdrop.
Set and lighting by Light & Motion and their amazing Stella lights, Preproduction a7R4 loaners at Kando Trip 3.0. The eye autofocus is amazing. Zoom in on dancer's eyes.

A blend of 8 different 15 second exposures at f/4, ISO6400. First milkyway shoot this morning for my new fullframe camera since I have it last year. The high ISO and post-process gain is highly usable.
Taken at Marina Bay, Singapore. A single 4 minute long exposure with 6 stops ND filter mounted. Processed with split toning and profile calibration in LR.
Avui us poso un clàssic dels clàssics d’Ordesa. Tot i no ser gaire original, ja he dit molts cops, que m’agrada tenir les fotos que fa tothom, que de fet ja la tenia, però l’altre cop era primavera i els colors no tenen res a veure, així que molt content amb la meva “postal”.
