La estación de tren de Almassora (oficialmente registrada como apeadero ferroviario) se sitúa en la provincia de Castellón y forma parte fundamental de la lÃnea C-6 de la red de CercanÃas de Valencia operada por Renfe.
El precioso edificio de dos plantas de 1862 se encuentra muy bien conservado.
Hasta el 2006 esta estación tubo un abundante tráfico de mercancÃas, ya que hasta ella llegaban varios trenes arcilleros procedentes de Teruel; trayendo la tan necesaria materia prima para las fábricas de azulejos de la zona.
En ese mismo año por varias razones, se suspendieron los tráficos de dichos trenes y el cambio de vÃa que daba acceso al descargadero de arcilla fue levantado.

The Almassora train station (officially registered as a railway halt) is located in the province of Castellón and is an essential part of the C-6 line of the Valencia suburban rail network (CercanÃas), operated by Renfe.
The beautiful two-story building, dating back to 1862, is remarkably well-preserved.
Until 2006, this station handled heavy freight traffic, serving as the destination for several clay trains arriving from Teruel, which brought the much-needed raw materials for local tile factories.
That same year, due to several factors, these train services were discontinued, and the track switch leading to the clay unloading dock was removed.
