The name Piz Gloria originated in Ian Fleming's James Bond novel On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1963), wherein the hideout of the villain, Ernst Stavro Blofeld, is a mountain-top building containing an allergies investigation clinic.
I appear to have found the only Robin with a peanut allergy.... Or maybe it doesn't like this brand of peanut butter.
I really love this shot. I was going to hold off on posting it, because I've had a few edits that I wasn't going to make public yet, but when I did this one, I decided to post them all! This is my favorite and I couldn't wait!
For some reason, I haven't hit Explore for about 2 1/2 years, and I really wish this one could make the difference. Whether it ever does or not, I still like it and hope you do, too!
I continue to feel more normal each day, and though I'm still a trifle congested, it's not much more than on a regular allergy kind of day! Thanks everyone for your kind thoughts and prayers during this time. I very much appreciate it!
This Moʻai figure will cause a small wind storm if he is allowed to sneeze. Off to Costco for some bulk Claratin.
This face was actually being transported in a pick-up truck to a party on Vancouver Island.
My allergies are killing me, I keep feeling like I'm coming down with a cold, but nothing about the way I "feel" says that. It's only late at night, like now that I feel crappy. My poor nose is raw from my cheap kleenex....stupid CVS generic brand! I'm buying the ones with the aloe added tomorrow!
I worked on my weekend off so I'm overly pooped. That's OK though, I know that in a few weeks, I'll be relaxing on a white sand beach soon.
I asked lil unicorn if he wanted to take an allergy tablet before we went out exploring today, and he revealed to me that unicorns don't have allergies ... of any kind! Wow! I always thought I was a unicorn (naturally) but hearing this made it clear to me that I am not. I live in the south, land of perpetual warm/hot weather, including my oft bragged about mild winters. And for this reason, there is always something triggering some sort of pesky allergy attack ... that said, I'll take my mild winters any day over the blizzards that many other places deal with. And I'll keep my Benadryl supply topped up!
Happy Tuesday, everyone ... I hope the beauty of spring is starting to surround you all ... well, those friends who I share this hemisphere with at least! Sending tons of love! 💕❤️

Perhaps a bitter pill to swallow. Grand daughter Livia is allergic to the dog, so anytime she is over she needs help with that. When got them out I said...."wait a sec" and got the camera.

This is my first photo taken with my new Nikkor 200-500 mm lens. Impressed so far.
Both my wife and I have been having running noses since last week. When we walked across this canyon, we figured out why.
The magnificent sunset I glimpsed in my rear view mirror made me race to Spruce Creek Park to try to capture it over the water. This was the scene as I was entering the area of walkways over the creek.
I saw my eye surgeon today. My eye is what they call a "hypersensitive eye", and I'm having a severe allergic reaction, probably to the last steroid drops they gave me to help the eye heal. The doctor said it was probably one of the preservatives or something, not the actual steroid that is causing the reaction. I'm being switched to another steroid which should alleviate the problem some, and I have anti-allergy drops just in case.
As for the light flares and blurred vision, he said most of that is because the eye needs more time to heal and WON'T heal properly without the steroid drops. It will be about 6 weeks before it settles down completely and I can see how it's doing. Since using the anti-allergy drop, I believe I am seeing slightly clearer, and light isn't bothering me as much. Hallelujah! So, the saga continues, but at least the lens looks good and hopefully all is well, or at least will be. If my eye will stop itching, I'll be a happy camper!
AKA Mountain Cedar, as in cedar "fever", the seasonal allergy that afflicts so many Central Texans...

ELS 501 sits north of Green Bay awaiting a down tree to be removed on a warm summer day. The tracks are covered in a weed called ragweed on the ELS mainly between Crivitz and Green Bay making for some mighty sinus problems.

I DID try it on again and it was STILL too big, so yes it is going back. Demanding Lucy!
I hope whoever processed the return doesn't have allergies.
The pollen is everywhere, covering everything it can find in a thick coat of that yellow stuff! Can you say Achoo?
In spite of the high count of tree pollen in our area, we dared to venture out to a nearby arboretum to enjoy the first weekend of spring with its beautiful, sunny weather.

Only recently started suffering with these nasty allergies Omg don't they make your eyes run, your nose itch and then someone gives you flowers, you smile politely say thank you then and dash for the antihistamines and a box of tissues lol
This was going to be a joint post with Starr but things went wrong so here I am suffering on my own..
