As I drove over the top of the Chinook Pass driving west towards Seattle I got my first ever view of Mount Rainier in person.
If you're lucky like me and it's a clear day it'll be one of the most amazing sights you'll ever see.
This is part of a large addition that I am making to my Bay View album. Bay View is a community of summer cottages near Petoskey, Michigan. Most of these additional photographs are highlighting the great number of porch styles in the community. Here there are seven steps up to the porch. Taken on an drizzling, overcast day.

Baseball, hot-dogs, apple pie ..... Americas favorite pastime. A player for Andover Kansas dives back to 1st base after the pitcher catches him trying to steal 2nd. I enjoy photographing sports when I can, with all the mood and action you never know what awaits you. To be honest I enjoy baseball games for the hot-dogs & beer ;)
On my last trip back to the Midwest I kept driving past this barn, and every time I was caught by its natural beauty... I just love the way they planted flowers all around the base of the silo.
Finally, toward the end of our trip, the light was finally right and I was able to capture this image.
Rain storms had been coming through all day, and I was able to time this shot between downpours. Just as I finished shooting, the rains came pouring down and I had to make a run for the car.
I wonder if the owner of this farm realizes how amazing their barn looks?
makes them look like cartoon characters! =)
