I haven't posted this before... It bothered me that his eyes were different sizes, I guess... but I keep coming back to it, because of his earnest, friendly face. Guru makes a lot of eye contact--one of the things I really love about him. That's why I'm choosing this image for this week's Happy Caturday group theme: a photo we love of a cat that we love.

I decided to glam up Guru with a luxurious scarf for this week's Happy Caturday theme Glamorous.

I haven't been able to take any photographs for a little over a week because I have to hop around on one foot with a walker (torn Achilles' tendon). Guru gave me this shot, however, which I could take from my recliner.

I found him in the cat enclosure. He figured out how to use the cat flap! He was very excited.

...that was being cast onto the wall by a lead-crystal ornament hanging in the window.

I promise, we did not choose the upholstery fabric to match Charlie's eyes--but when I look at it now, all I can see is sets of mismatched eyes...

The search for a new sofa continues. I pulled this faux rattan seat out of the sunroom. It is virtually indestructible (they have tried). Maybe we need a rubber couch.

the macromondays theme for today, 8/19, is closed and i figured lots of people would do zippers, so i went with a fuzzy vest's zipper in almost ethereal all white, in a square ~grin~

*The rabbit is the exception. He is woolen.

You can't really see the collection because of Guru, but the surface of the cabinet is normally completely covered. Guru found a way to make space by shoving everything out of the way.
