The warmth and the light of spring awaken the forest floor and the moss. It is believed that Robbie and Jack are in the woods. On the way to Wilhelmine (Robbie's sister). Nobody has discovered them yet. Sometimes there are a few traces, like a broken door lock. Or a kitchen in an allotment that's now free of its food supplies – and the un-washed plates on which the scraps of food on the kitchen table slowly begin to mold ... and rumpled beds. Anyway, it seems the two go well with their tramp life. That leaves a glimmer of hope ;-) ... Does Wilhelmine know that her brother is on the way to her?

Die Wärme und das Licht des Frühlings erwecken den Waldboden und das Moos. Man vermutet, dass Robbie und Jack sich in den Wäldern herumtreiben. Auf dem Weg zu Wilhelmine (Robbies Schwester). Niemand hat die beiden bisher entdeckt. Manchmal gibt es ein paar Spuren, wie ein aufgebrochenes Türschloss. Oder eine Küche in einem Schrebergarten, die von ihren Nahrungsmittelvorräten befreit ist – und die unabgewaschenen Teller, auf denen die Essensreste auf dem Küchentisch langsam anfangen zu schimmeln ... und zerwühlte Betten. Jedenfalls scheint es den beiden gut zu gehen mit ihrem Landstreicherleben. Das lässt doch einen Schimmer Hoffnung aufkommen ;-) ... Ob Wilhelmine weiß, dass ihr Bruder auf dem Weg zu ihr ist?

This was a rather unplanned and impromptu moment, looking out from my balcony spotted this Squirrel nibbling on a nearby tree, so in typical fashion, ran back into my room and put together my 600mm and came back half expecting it to have scurried off, but much to my delight it was still there, it moved over onto a nearby branch and stayed still long enough to a get a good capture, on what was a quite dull day.

The huge spruce in our garden sends off big clouds of yellow pollen that powder everything with a layer of fine sand-of-the-desert-like dust. beside that it developped lots of cones with downrunning "tears" of resin. When these pearls catch the light in the right angle they sparkle and shine like jewellery - #AllNatural ;)
