I have just returned from Florida.
Sunset from the back of my brother's building revealed an unusual alignment of the Moon below a planet, plus star, viewable all week. Greetings all, I look forward to catching up with your images and posting pics of the Fort Lauderdale area, ocean and lush foliage. I leave the flocks of pelicans zooming by to the mastery of Doug.

CP3023 yard engine waits for MOW Fairmont Jackson tamper to finish alignment of the track. Ties have been replaced and the tamper is the last MOW equipment before the yard engine can use this stretch of track.

Jupiter, Moon, and Venus (top to bottom) make an uncommon rendezvous while setting in the western sky.
I had the pleasure of viewing the planetary alignment this week shortly after the sun set into Lake Michigan. In this photo I captured the Moon, three planets, and a few deep sky attractions using a wide angle 10mm lens . The reflection of Venus in the lake is also prominent.

Cruising South of the South China Sea yesterday morning and an amazing sunrise complete with the alignment of the planets. I believe you see Jupiter, Venus, and Mars. Just amazing!
