(and obviously alice in wonderland which is fucked up on so many levels)
Thank you for an amazing 10 years everyone. It's been fun, but I feel it's time to push forward creatively, without the restrictions of AP things, so I'll be releasing less as AP and more as a yet to be announced brand. I'll still be doing hair, just different and hopefully better.

No doubt that Alice in Wonderland is one of the greatest books in the world. Full of mysteries and intriguing thoughts it became favourite not only for children, but for the grown-ups.
I remember last time rereading it during the meetings at work. The meetings themselves were pure nonsense, leading nowhere, stealing the time of the workers. And as Alice thinks herself: if something has no meaning, why no to create the meaning for yourself? So did I. I dived into the book and looked at it sometimes as a grown-up, sometimes as a child. The lines of the book became a thick forest you want to explore.
Here are my ultimate favourite quotes from the book:
“My dear, here we must run as fast as we can, just to stay in place. And if you wish to go anywhere you must run twice as fast as that.”
“If everybody minded their own business, the world would go around a great deal faster than it does.”
Alice: “Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?”
The Cheshire Cat: “That depends a good deal on where you want to get to.”
Alice: “I don’t much care where…”
The Cheshire Cat: Then it doesn’t matter which way you go.”
Aren’t these quotes great? Pure joy :) And for today’s photo I suggest a mad version of our beloved Alice.

One year ago I received an email from a small town in Molise asking if I would be interested in coming to paint. As it turns out, it was my grandfather's hometown - Civitacampomarano (CB), which they didn't realize when they'd written.
This past weekend I made my way to my grandfather’s town to paint a series of works, many based on vintage photographs from the town. Down to only 400 inhabitants, I decided to paint my work primarily on old doors, speaking about what was once there and what has not been abandoned, as many homes are now empty. For instance, we photographed Mario in front of a work inspired by him and his friends playing games together. Today there are only a handful of children left in the town. They attend school nearby, as Civita’s schools have long since closed. One of the children from town, Robertina, helped as my assistant, using her hands to play “hide and go seek” just as the wall does. I also met Zio Nicola, my grandfather’s next door neighbor, who offered us strawberries and helped identify some of the people in the photographs.
Thank you to Ylenia and Associazione Pro Loco for writing me last year and bringing me back to my roots. Thank you as well to Barbara, Luciana, and Mayor Paolo Manuele for the help and hospitality. I will be back soon…..

Alice in wonderland is a children's book from 1865 by Lewis Carroll, pseudonym of the English mathematician Charles Lutwidge Dodgson. The story is seen as a modern fairy tale. The book starts with a 42-line poem that describes the three sisters Liddell - here Prima, called Secunda and Tertia - asking their companion to tell a story during a rowing trip on a sunny day. First chapter Alice and her sister sat in the garden, Alice was a little sleepy. Suddenly she saw a rabbit at her feet. The rabbit tells himself that he is far too late for something and constantly watches his watc;. the rabbit ran away again. Alice ran after the rabbit, which meanwhile had run into a big hole. Alice crawled after it. But Alice did not think how she should go back. Then Alice feels something soft. This is the beginning of adventures ...
