For non-watch folks, the provenance of this watch means nothing to you. I bought this watch off of AliExpress and they called it a Vostok Amphibia which is a really well known Soviet watch brand...the vintage ones are more interesting but the new ones are easy to buy.
Well, there is NOTHING Soviet about the watch. It has an inexpensive but legit Japanese Miyota movement (vs. the Vostok's had their own proprietary movements) and there is no Vostok logo reference. So, it becomes kind of a satire about clomage and homage watches on AliExpress.
But, the real bottom line is I like "cushion case" watches and I like this has a sterile dial. Typically a true Volstok might run you $300-$500USD and this cost me $68. So, I like it that much more.
So, the argument could be - Is this an illegal knockoff? No, because there is NOTHING referencing Volstok. Crazy daze!

I thought I would check out the dolls they sell on Aliexpress. Honestly, they're not that bad if you want to expand your army of dolls on a limited budget. They do not have rooted eyelashes, and their hands are kind of weird (especially on the other doll I bought), but I like her silky hair, and she can wear IT clothes. This particular doll's head is kind of shaped like a lightbulb, lol. Maybe I can do something about that.
This fashion is also Xianxian, the quality is really good, no complaints, I styled it with some Muses sunglasses and a Muses handbag.

These were taken with a very cheap 32mm f10 "Focus Free" lens I bought with some other stuff from AliExpress. It appears to be a lens from a disposable film camera remounted into a plastic baseplate that's molded into various mounts. Mine is a(rough approximation of) Leica M- mount. This time it was mounted on an M43 Olympus E-PL1, wich only uses the central portion of the lens. Interesting vibe, and handy as a lenscap lens.
Found on AliExpress website. I'm happy with my purchase. I bought 4 different versions. The hair is thinly rooted but not egregious. There are no visible bald spots or anything like that,

No I wasn't drinking too much gin whilst on AliExpress I promise! There is a perfectly good reason why this cute little model is in my collection, honestly! LOL
It was actually sent in error but with the cost and inconvenience of posting it back to China the seller said I could keep the set for free as well as sending out the correct items. I'm a bit stuck as how to explain this little model to be honest, it appears to be a copy of a vehicle made by Tomica for the Disney Tsum Tsum franchise and one which is clearly aimed at very young children. This of course is certainly not an official Disney product as i'm sure you've guessed but rather it is made by a Chinese company who use the T.NA brand. It is deliberately very toy like in its appearance with facial features at the front but is reasonably well made and cheekily uses very Tomica style wheels. Part of a six vehicle set of equally daft looking models. Mint and boxed.
With AliExpress now mainly concentrating on familiar brands and having not set foot out of the UK since January 2020 i've been a bit lax on finding obscure Chinese diecasts in the same numbers I used to! Luckily I did strike gold on AliExpress with a six vehicle set containing expensive Western SUV's.
The logo on the packaging either says 23 or ZE or indeed could merely be symbols. This Maserati Levante is typical of whats in the pack ie. unlicensed but actually very neatly cast for a cheapo. Front and rear detailing to lights, an interior and smart alloy effect wheels are offered. Mint and boxed.

This doll joined my collection earlier this year, but I never got around to taking any photos of her until recently. I purchased her from AliExpress, I was curious about the quality being it's a much cheaper alternative to many other fashion dolls. She surprised me, she's quite pretty, but there's something about the way her hair lays that bugs me. She's a great doll for wearing hats though, because you can't mess her hair up, it's really soft and silky. This also makes her a great candidate for my many Christmas sweaters.
Her pleated Gray pants and her black crop top are also from AliExpress. These pants are Really nice and well made. The herringbone coat is from Defa Lucy.
