Another bunch of knockoffs, at least the interesting ones here. Got some minifigs and such too.
Here's where I got those purple Bohrok and Nuva legs (from two of them). Also has some nice purple Technic and click joints. Thought the bald minifig was kinda funny, and the dragon knight is a cool design.

The 'crown' I used for miss Bijou Elyse this time is an Earring from Ali Express( of cóurse, lol) .
I do this a lot because my Royalty Ladies at home demand expensive looking head wear and a lot of hoop earrings do the trick. Sometimes they need a bit of aid with a few strategically placed pins. You of course can also cut off that part that pierces your ear, sand it well and use it with pins. Whatever makes you feel safer:-) The buns are perfect for this!

Been a minute since I browsed the Forbidden Shelves of Aliexpress, but I've got a few MOCs coming up that required some... alternative pieces and found some other great things alongside.
I saw these Technic cars and just... I can't pass up unusual Technic colors. Pink and purple, including purple Bohrok eyes and tons of connectors and panels. The construction isn't quite as solid as Lego's cars (my family's been collecting a lot of them) so I did make some minor modifications to increase their stability.
The flowers might seem like an odd choice, but I noticed they had some recolors of the SW shoulder pads in their petals. Unfortunately, they are in a randomized lot, so I got two hoping that at least one would be the pink one, but no luck. The white one does have coral colored insides so that's kinda neat.

Also known as the other Metalbeard (which is a much better name). My first bunch of knockoffs from the Aliexpress 11/11 sale are coming in. This was a relatively recent discovery, but as a huge fan of steampunk I absolutely had to get at least one Steam Age set, and I chose the one that seemed to have the most useful parts. And boy did it deliver. Haven't done a new parts pic for a while but this one was worth it.
All my Teen Titans figures to date, including customs and one bootleg I got from Aliexpress.

The torso from Rose Wilson is from the original Bib Fortuna Lego figure released back in 2003. Starfire's green fire on her hands is from the new Lobo Spacehog set, and her hair is from the Friends theme. Tim Drake/Robin III is a combo figure that everyone and their grandma has made by now, black Mutt Williams hair piece, Mr. Incredible arms and legs, I've seen many different Flickr users use this combination for Tim or Jason, including theMooseFigs. If anyone knows who did it first, let me know in the comments and I will give credit where it's due.
Joseph Wilson/Jericho is heavily inspired by the purist made by LordAllo. Dumbledore torso and legs, yellow part on torso changed to white with paint, and I attempted to paint on his iconic mutton chops. I think they turned out okay. The head is a Luke Skywalker head. Wally West/Kid Flash is a bootleg from AliExpress. Donna Troy is heavily inspired by the purist made by user Jonathan, torso is Faora torso modified with paint, and the legs are Glam Metal Batman legs also modified with paint.
Roy Harper/Arsenal is a custom-printed figure I bought from X39BrickCustoms. Cyborg is the DCEU Justice League one, and last but not least Terra. Terra was the first ever custom I made. Terra has a Friends hair piece, and an Avatar head that I modified with paint. Her legs are gray and black, dual molded, and I painted the T emblem on her torso, her belly, and the exposed flesh and shoes on her legs, based on her appearance in the original Teen Titans show, as I dislike her costume in the comics or in the Judas Contract movie, also this was the incarnation of the character I liked the best.

Aside from having some beautiful recolors, I just love these sets for their ridiculous concept. Imagine, you're a scientist who just revived dinosaurs. Now what do you do? Naturally, you strap guns, wings, and jets to them! Fortunately these scientists were smart enough to control them themselves. The big croc is another set that interestingly has a function that opens the mouth, moves the legs, and swishes the tail. Mostly got it for the dark green Protector feet though.
These were taken with a very cheap 32mm f10 "Focus Free" lens I bought with some other stuff from AliExpress. It appears to be a lens from a disposable film camera remounted into a plastic baseplate that's molded into various mounts. Mine is a(rough approximation of) Leica M- mount. This time it was mounted on an M43 Olympus E-PL1, wich only uses the central portion of the lens. Interesting vibe, and handy as a lenscap lens.

Recently, there have been sightings of a gnome wizard wandering inside of the local malls, walking with a butterfly catcher as his staff and disrupting the daily lives of humans until he is kicked out, grumbling all the while.
Made in 2024, based off of the public pranks made by @Crawly_Goat on Twitter and Instagram, where he dresses as a gnome wizard and wanders in establishments and off limits areas, which usually results in him getting removed from the store.
His cloak is a wrap around cape piece I got from Aliexpress and painted, and his draping arms also came from Aliexpress.
