I don't really like the bodies that Blythe (real or fake) come with...so I got this body off of aliexpress. It's a knockoff PureNeemo body--only with a neck attachment that makes it fit fakie Blythe perfectly.

I've been hoping and wishing for a Bee's Dreamland custom for quite some time, almost as long as Bee started accepting commissions. My plan was to find a reasonably (HA!) priced Blythe. Preferably secondhand, used, nude, since I didn't care about the stock face-up since ideally, she'd be entirely customized.
But genuine secondhand Blythes are hard to come by. I've been looking for months, but no such luck. I found some on ebay numerous times, kept getting outbid and I gave up. My next step was to order a Blythe release, but I never got around to that as I'm kind of waiting for one that I like (stock wig & outfit)..
In the meantime, Bee has been doing her Blythe customs, and Custom #9 is her little tan sweetie with the beautiful blonde hair. This doll is a fake Blythe...and while I generally don't support knockoff/bootleg/fake products, for this doll, I bent my own rules because she's just too cute to resist. (And really, it's not her fault she's not made of genuine Takara parts).
I still plan on finding a genuine Blythe to send to Bee's Dreamland to get made-over, but even if it never happens, I can say I'm quite content with this little lass. I've named her Paloma.
Where do you stand on the fake/factory Blythe issue? I don't support it, and am aware that my owning one makes me hypocritical. But at the end of the day, it is my money, and it is my doll collection. I know she is a fake Blythe, knew that from the very beginning when I made the conscious decision to pop by Bee's Dreamland on etsy and put her in my shopping cart.
I don't plan on purchasing any more fake Blythes (or fake any dolls, for that matter), but I can truthfully tell you that I'd love this doll the same if she were genuine Takara made. Paloma is definitely a permanent resident--I've brought her to work with me and she now brightens up my dreary desk in the back office. I love being able to see her when I'm having a crap day at work.

With the aid of the Chinese website AliExpress I have been able to expand quite rapidly my collection of Y.T.G.F. models. They are a new brand to me and I have been very impressed with their realism and features not usually found on the lower end of the diecast market such as opening doors and clear plastic headlamps. Surprisingly these accurate looking models are absolutely not licensed even though none of their styling has been altered to appease the licensors apart from lack of badging. This BMW X6 is typical of their products and is part of a five vehicle set. Mint and boxed.

Look how nice Clint's legs are :D .... Clint got these leggings from AliExpress, but they weren't the same as the picture. The picture had even cuts. This has cuts missing at the knee, and 2 missing from the shin. Clint filed a dispute for "item not as described." The seller said, "But you received them." and Clint replied, "Precision is very important in fashion." So anyway.... Free leggings thanks to taking this picture.

Thanks to websites such as AliExpress the amounts of new diecast brands I discovered back in 2016 was like something i'd never seen before. Not just the same old castings recycled under many different names but genuinely different ranges of models unique to individual Chinese toy manufactures and rarely seen outside of that domestic market. Although many of them were predictably crude and of no real interest to the majority of collectors plenty were of an equal quality to anything produced by Mattel and other big name companies. The products of Peng Hui Toys probably sit somewhere in the middle judging by this model School Bus which is likely to be based on an American International vehicle. Its body is of a fairly basic nature which makes its use of attractive wheels with separate tyres a surprising but welcome feature. Part of a five vehicle set. Mint and boxed.

Decided to try a GFB DV+ knockoff diverter valve. Had to dismantle it off course, to check for build quality (which is suprisingly good!).
Cleaned and regreased it, works good on my 2.4T (holds 0.5-0.6 BAR with ease).
