This is a portrait of one of my co-workers, been trying to get together for some time to do his portrait. Finally got it done with some great results.
I was in the financial district of San Francisco taking some photos of my friend, when this spark of a woman showed up with her Leica. We started talking camera stuff and some of our favorite places to shoot. It turns out, that not only is she a photography geek and a phenomenal talent, she also has her own Youtube channel. We decided we had to have a portrait shoot-out and here are my results. Ali, truly great to have met you.

The Mosque of Muhammad Ali Pasha or Alabaster Mosque (Arabic: مسجد محمد علي, Turkish: Mehmet Ali Paşa Camii) is a mosque situated in the Citadel of Cairo in Egypt and commissioned by Muhammad Ali Pasha between 1830 and 1848.
Situated on the summit of the citadel, this Ottoman mosque, the largest to be built in the first half of the 19th century, is, with its animated silhouette and twin minarets, the most visible mosque in Cairo. The mosque was built in memory of Tusun Pasha, Muhammad Ali's oldest son, who died in 1816.
This mosque, along with the citadel, is one of the landmarks and tourist attractions of Cairo and is one of the first features to be seen when approaching the city from no matter which side.

This shot was taken about 4 KM out of my village in pakistan. I find out that this pic was on one of Grave as people Love God (ALLAH) and his massanger Muhammad (PBUH) and his family members Ali, Fatima, Hassan and Hussain. this hand thing is sign of their love

Perth Strobist Meet @ Trigg Beach. Ali was an awesome model. Was my first time mucking around with my strobes with a model. Tragically I lost my SB800 to a rock :( So it was just me and my trusty SB600 and a shoot through umbrella.
Looks like I have to get this new monitor calibrated...Can't get the colours right...

I recently discovered a trove of previously unscanned negatives in my archives and am happy to scan them for the first time.
Pentax Super Program, SMC Pentax-M f/2.0, Tmax 3200 at box speed. Probably developed in Tmax RS developer (I wasn't yet developing my own film at this point, but that is what I think the lab used). Scanned in 2020 with a PrimeFilm XA.
My son Ali, Chattanooga 2017. Canon Elan 7, EF 85mm f/1.8 USM (probably). Ilford FP4+, Xtol 1+1. Scanned with a PrimeFilm XA scanner.
