The room would be good enough for the time she had to stay is a dynamic data portrait of the modern hotel. The foundation of the piece is a database of more than 1 million hotels from across the world, augmented with a deep set of photographs, reviews and statistics. A custom-built algorithmic system traverses the database by following fragments of routes from literary road trips such as Hard Core Logo, Lolita, The Sun Also Rises, and Lawrence of Arabia. Each "trip" generates a five minute tour through the rich datascape of 21st century accommodations. The tours offer glimpses of each route's geography (local and global), economy (macro and micro), color, and character using photographs, video, language, and dynamic maps in various combinations. Through these brief data explorations, a kaleidoscopic picture of structure and humanity within the hotel ecosystem emerges.

I'm currently reorganising my Juno image processing pipeline, and these renders were used to test overall alignment. I'm also mid 'framelet merge algorithm' re-write, so it was turned off for this image. The exposure time in P09 was twice as long as P10/P11, which gives me an extra aspect to test.
