As phoebird requested, here are details of the triptich. A fine idea for flickr because one of the problems here is getting a sense for larger pieces that I do. This triptich will be about 18" x 48" on the wall, if not a little lerger. But I kind of like them as iindividiual statements too.

The thinking of secondary problems is considered a prerequisite for students to learn more advanced programs later. Therefore, many families have hired tutors to consolidate and improve their children's knowledge. However, not all level 2 tutors know how to teach algebra in a very formal way, and then lead to negative influences on the students.

Because it has to do with the knowledge that you are learning, it will only make the students feel tired and tense, but it will take time for both teachers and students.

sometimes it is funny to do some school-stuff again. so yesterday in the evening i grapped the maths-schoolbook of my son (13 years old) and tried to do one of the problem out of his book. as you can see above they are doing algebra right at the moment and it reminds me of my own time at school....i LOOOVED algebra! for me it was great to sit and try to solve the problem.... this is not such a difficult example... but after 30 years out of school it was fun to do...and i was proud that i brought home the bacon! ;o)))

The Swinging Algebra Teacher was a low stakes Jekyll and Hyde whose life was split between his milquetoast professional persona of mathematics teacher by day and polyester clad hedonist by night. While the sun was shining, he put in the minimum effort to make sure his students could muster enough math credits to get them into one of the local colleges, but after dark, he lived to do what he felt he was born to do — DANCE! He couldn’t wait to hit the dance floors of the greater Philadelphia area. Legend has it that his weekend started earlier than everybody else’s — possibly Wednesday, definitely Thursday — as he would rush home after class, catch a disco nap and then hit the clubs to trip the light fantastic until last call. This probably explained his lack of energy in class and his utter lack of enthusiasm for algebraic equations.
It was the 1970s after all and while most of the teachers I remember were married with spouses, kids and suburban homes, there were a number of teachers I suspected of being very much of that time period. If asked if they were married or an allusion was made as to a spouse, the question was met with a cryptic grin. They may have had the libertine bent of the time and probably would not have turned down an invitation to a key party if it were ever offered. They may have missed out on the ’60s, but they were going to party hearty with whatever the ME decade had to offer.
Once again, I used Affinity Designer to produce this piece. This was a lot of fun, and I listened to a lot of disco as I worked on it to get me in the right frame of mind.
My swinging algebra teacher’s appearance isn’t based on any one teacher in particular, but like my librarian, he is sort of a composite of a number of teachers and staff. Not all of them were math teachers.

In my algebra class today, we got a new projector. It's really neat. Some of the students were playing with it, so I took a picture. It's kind of scary to me though, the idea of a hand this large is frightening.
On the other hand. ;)
Tomorrow, I'll be performing at a local church. It's a concert, just because we can.
I'll be taking pictures of one of the bands that are playing. I'm stoked, so expect some of those coming up. :]
