Algebra Equations....

If A + K = ♥; and

C + A = ♥, then is

A 2-Xing (two-timing) K + C?

(These algebraic declarations of love, in a small wooded piece of land near the local high school, appear to be the handiwork of the same love-stricken but fickle Romeo.)

(P.S. Can you find 2 tiny pale ♥'s on the bark of this tree?)

Introduction to IX Grade AlgebraFriends today we all are going to rewind our basic concepts of Algebra along with ninth standard Algebra problems. We all know about the basic concepts behind numbers and how can we combine them with the help of basic operations of addition, multiplication, subtraction and division. This mathematics area of study is known as Arithmetic. In ninth standard we are going to study the more advanced area of Algebra which is distinct from arithmetic. In this section of Algebra we are going to perform basic operations for example addition to specific numbers that involves entities called as variables. Variables are those entities which have no particular value or an unknown value. The variables in mathematics are usually denoted by the upper or lower case letters. Algebra is a fundamental branch of mathematics that mainly deals with the rules of operations and their relations and the constructions and concepts arising from them. If we talk in simple words then we will see that algebra is simply the art of replacing variables in place of numbers.

In this episode of Algebra Applications, three real-world explorations of linear functions are developed:

- Pyrotechnics. Fireworks displays are elegant examples of quadratic function. In this segment the basics of quadratic functions in standard form are developed visually and students are guided through the planning of a fireworks display.

- Forensics. The distance a car travels even after the brakes are applied can be described through a quadratic function. But there is also the reaction time, the split second before the brakes are applied. The total distance is known as the stopping distance and this segment analyzes the quadratic function. This is an equation that can be used by accident investigators.

- Medicine. From the time a baby is born to the time it reaches 36 months of age, there is dramatic growth in height and weight. An analysis of CDC data reveals a number of quadratic models that doctors can use to monitor and growth and development of children.

Happymath would like to introduce you to lecture COVER EASILY MATH: POWER NUMBER AND CONJUNCTION - A LEVEL MATH - IB - IGCSE by Mr. Anh Duc

Introduction to learning mathematics at Happymath:

Learn algebra in English is a completely new model to help elementary children get acquainted with English through math learning. Through this form, the children not only develop the language but also train the ability to think in accordance with world standards. From there, remember English vocabulary through math longer, develop vocabulary for studying in English in the future. The way to learn vocabulary in Happymath is also very unique, the vocabulary in the lecture is repeated to help her form the reflection and remember the longest.

Nowadays, access to learning math online equal to English is no longer too difficult for young people and parents who wish their children to study in an international way.

Introduction the lecture: POWER NUMBER AND CONJUNCTION

With today's lecture, children will understand what is power number and conjunction. Also know how to evaluate (example: the square root of 4 is 2, the root of 8 is 2), simplify (example: the square root of 7 multiplied the square root of 7 equal to 7), express in the form K the square root 2,...

Algebra 2 For Dummies:

Thanks Dad, really feeling the love here... -.- haha!

Idea: Show students how slopes appear as percents on roadways. Use this to create a problem: "You need to build a railing on the side of this walkway and need to know the angle of this hill in order to properly cut your wood railing..."

6.22.09.

Algebra sucks. the end.

I started another week of summer school today, after this thursday only 4 more weeks >.<

Yesterday, after I uploaded my picture, I semi-twisted my ankle, so now it's all swollen and I'm limping around the house (going up 3 flights of stairs to my classroom was a drag in the morning -_-) but other than that I'm fine.

Today after school, Paulina and I were sitting in my kitchen, flipping through the channels (which isnt much for my kitchen TV seeing as there are only about 10 channels) but anyways we settled on the spanish channel where we proceeded to make up our own messed up and hilarious dialogue. We got a lot of laughs out of that xD

And right now, I'm checking all my emails, myspace, facebook, social vibe, etc., and then I will proceed on trying to finish up my algebra homework.

(wow my life is boring this summer)

p.s. self timing my camera and running and trying to pose without laughing or anything else is really interesting to watch according to Paulina x)

These diagrams look so erudite.

“I don’t get it,” whined Spooks.

“Get what?” asked Lady.

“I am trying to explain algebra to Spooks,” sighed Forest.

“My love life is like algebra,” sighed Lady.

“Oh?” asked Forest.

“Yeah,” sighed Lady, “I look at my X and wonder Y…”

It's the group S5, with consideration of orbits under certain generators. I think it looks cool.

As phoebird requested, here are details of the triptich. A fine idea for flickr because one of the problems here is getting a sense for larger pieces that I do. This triptich will be about 18" x 48" on the wall, if not a little lerger. But I kind of like them as iindividiual statements too.
