For Alfred Adler (1870-1937), whose works I have translated into Japanese, the fact that his patients were not wealty meant little to him because he wanted to make a real difference in the world with his medical carreer.
'Perhaps his most colorful patients were those employed at the Prater's amusement park, including strongmen, trapeze artists, and acrobats'(Edward Hoffman, The Drive for Self, p.32, Adler no shogai, tanslated by Ichiro Kishimi, p.44)
When I visited this famous towering Ferris wheel few people were seen in the park. It was beautiful against the blue sky.

Para experimentarlo en persona la Embajada de la República Federal Alemania y el Centro de Estudios Adlerianos tienen el agrado de invitarlo a la celebración de un nuevo aniversario de HumorCare International.

It was in September, 1999 that I flew to Vienna to see the city where a psychiatrist Alred Adler (1870-1937) lived his life in my own eyes. What I found at Czeringasse 7 in the Leopoldstadt was only a plate on which the following letters were inscribed.

The founder of individual psychology)
Unlike Freud with whom Adler was working and studying together, it was only this plate displayed on the wall of the clinic which tells that Adler lived in Vienna.
According to Edward Hoffman, a biographer of Adler, writes as follows. 'Because his clientele was pricipally drawn from working-class Leopoldstadt, many of his patients paid little for his time and some nothing at all' (The Drive for Self, p.38, Adler no shogai, tanslated by Ichiro Kishimi, p.51).
