It's been a while since I created any art but here is a new batch of my hand-painted cabs. It's good to be back in the studio!
They are glass cabochons that I made with some alcohol ink art. Many jewelry artists use them to make pendants (wire-wrapped and bead embroidery). They can also be dropped into a bezel for an instant pendant or made into magnets. This group is a mix that measure 35x25mm and 40x30mm. The sides and backs are painted with oil-based paint.
I love this kind of project. This was a custom order for a customer that wanted something similar to the elephant I painted a little while ago. It was painted with alcohol ink, paint pens, gel pens, metallic pens and powdered pigments. I'm going to do a giraffe next and I may cut up the panels differently. These are really fun to make! Each section is roughly 2.5"x3.5".

I created these hearts on transparency sheets then cut out by hand. I used alcohol inks, stamps and did some doodling. I will punch a hole in the upper left so they can be used as a book charm.
