I reached out to Jennifer, whose music I have been a fan of since I was 18 last year, and she agreed to meet me at the studio so we could chat. Shortly later, I spend the day with her at my old studio and we just got to know each other and make some portraits off the cuff. I was overjoyed that I got to work with her making portraits, and I was extra overjoyed when she wanted to hire me to make some promotional images for her new album "Avocet" - her first in a decade.
There are some selects from that session from October. I'm just showing them now, as her new album is finally out.
To work with Jennifer is amazing to me - to be able to photograph someone who's music and songs have been so frequent in my life.

Since the taken of the photo's on the 29th Jan 2011 of a good friend of mine that did a tandem sky dive i needed to find some were to print my photos but were i could use my own designs as full A4 pages and not the ones were places on the web only offered there own templates. After looking on the web for places that might offer this kind of service i decided to make my own photo album that way i could use my own custom designs which i had made.
here is now over 300 photos made in to a 100 page photo album designed using Adobe Photoshop CS5 & lots of coffee lol

Liz Tamanaha, owner and blog editor of Paislee Press, recently started a discussion through her blog on album design called Blueprints: Conversations In Album Design. Liz suggests using Kolo Cortina and Kolo Catalina photo albums due to their design and simplicity. Paislee Press inspires the visitors to be creative while also “embracing the inner minimalist.” Simplicity can often bring out the most creative and elegant designs. Read a past post about using white space in an album to let your pictures breathe.
Each post in the series will answer a question from a visitor (from album experts to beginners). Discussions will start with questions ranging from as simple as “where do I begin?” to thoughts on complex album design.
Paislee Press also offers different templates to download to make creating an album even easier.

This year I started to reach out to people whom I've admired for a long time and ask if I could take their portrait.
Jennifer Kimball is a singer/songwriter who was a member of the band "The Story" in the early 1990's. She was in "The Story" with another singer I just recently photographed, Jonatha Brooke.
I'm not sure how it worked out that I was able to photograph both of them in the same week. It was amazing.
Jennifer is working with another musician I've worked with in the past. When I learned of this connection, I reached out to that mutual friend and asked if he thought Jennifer might be receptive if I reached out to her.
So I did.
She said yes.
She spent the day with me at the studio. We took things organically. I got to just play around, which is always refreshing.
I started the session very nervous, and ended the session with a new friend.
I was able to meet and work with Jennifer through the power of photography. It's amazing.

24//7 is a Tel Aviv (City in Israel) based weekly Magazine.
Tel Aviv is a non stop city that have attractions around the clock.
I used that fact and I created a magazine that gives the reader the best attractions that happen in the city.
The reader can find his attraction by the hour of the day and by that, he can see
what day the attractions is occurs.
The Magazine was printed on a News Paper in broadsheet size (spreads: 81x57 cm)

I've worked with Hannah a few times now. I love her. She moved back to her homeland in the U.K. a few years ago, but in August of 2014 she was in the US for a series of tour dates, and she and I got together to create some images that would be used for a forthcoming debut solo album.
One of those images became the cover for her debut album "Charms Against Sorrow" and others were used for the album packaging, which I designed. Others from this session will be used for tour posters and promotion.
