This unique and magickal creation is a design I was commissioned to do for the Denver based punk band - Kongtoss. It's loaded with occult symbology, not specific to anyone spiritual belief system. There are some prevalent symbolic themes through the entire album art - but I won't point them out. You'll just have to buy the album! "Kongtoss - Throw More Stones" Coming October 2010

This is the beginning stages of a school project. The assignment was to take a regular-sized CD cover and blow it up into a 2' x 2' flat.
I chose to do Listener's Ozark Empire album not only for the simplicity of the cover, but also because it's a great album and I like the idea of having a 2' x 2' flat of this album cover gracing the walls of my dorm room.
What this picture is of is the "cartooning" phase of the project. I had to grid out the album cover as well as the flat itself, and then pencil it all in. After it was all penciled in, I took a Sharpie and traced over everything. Next came another white layer of paint. With that layer down, I was still able to faintly see the sharpie line, so that guided me as I painted the final layer of black on.
I am very pleased with the way that this project turned out. I received an 86% on the project.

I used that fact and I created a magazine that gives the reader the best attractions that happen in the city.
The reader can find his attraction by the hour of the day and by that, he can see
what day the attractions is occurs.
The Magazine was printed on a News Paper in broadsheet size (spreads: 81x57 cm)
