About 1.5 years ago, I was once in the middle of two roads, not knowing which path Allah should take me to; it was either I could continue my degree here in Leicester or go back to Malaysia for good. It was indeed a situation whereby with only this one result slip would totally change the next chapter of life. Begitulah yang terjadi pada 2 orang sahabat, one of whom is now doing great in Malaysia as the President of iluvislam[dot]com.

At one point you will ponder, for whatever happens in your life, the only thing that will remain the same is your position as His servant. Having gone through these years of uncertainties, I learnt the word TAWAKKAL and REDHA as I strongly believe that He decides only THE BEST for His servants. And the value of uncertainties faced by the Prophets and their companions is definitely incomparable to what I have in mind.

My results will be announced next week; when I might not be around in Leicester. Aku doakan semuanya berjaya dengan cemerlang, supaya semuanya dapat pulang ke Malaysia untuk cuti 4 minggu, kecuali aku. Haha.. Sedikit kecewa tak dapat pulang ke tanah air tapi insyaAllah 4 minggu ni aku gunakan sebaiknya mengutip ilmu dan pengalaman. And insyaAllah, sheffield would be the first place to start with. Kent, Nottingham, Newcastle, Leeds, Belfast and Cork; just to name a few, would be next, insyaAllah.

Dalam sibuk berekspo Konvo DQ selama tiga hari bermula 16 hingga 18 Julai lepas, pada tengahari 17 Julai (Ahad) saya tengok cuaca sangatlah mengujakan. Jam 2 petang lebih saya kembali turun ke tepi tasik untuk merakamkan saat ini.

L'Aïd el-Kebir (signifiant littéralement la grande fête, `îd al kabîr, عيد الكبير en arabe) est l'une des fêtes musulmanes les plus importantes. Également appelée `îd al-Adha (arabe : عيد الإضحى, la fête du sacrifice), elle marque chaque année la fin du pèlerinage à La Mecque et a lieu le 10 du mois de Dhou al Hijja, dernier mois du calendrier musulman, aprés waqfat Arafa.

Cette fête commémore la soumission d'Abraham à Dieu, lorsque le patriarche était prêt à sacrifier son fils aîné sur son ordre (Ismaël selon la tradition musulmane, Isaac selon la Bible ; le Coran ne donnant pas explicitement le nom de ce fils aîné).

Chaque famille, dans la mesure de ses moyens, sacrifie un mouton (parfois d'autres animaux, notamment vaches, chameaux ou poulet) en l'égorgeant, couché sur le flanc gauche et la tête tournée vers La Mecque.

Dans une partie de l'Afrique musulmane, dont le Mali, le Sénégal, le Niger, la Côte d'Ivoire et le Burkina Faso, l'Aïd el-Kebir est nommé la tabaski.

Eid ul-Adha (Arabic: عيد الأضحى), or Eid-e Qurban (Persian: عید قربان) or Kurban Bayramı (Turkish) occurs on the tenth day of the Islamic month of Dhul Hijja. It is one of two Eid festivals that Muslims celebrate. Eid ul-Adha is celebrated by Muslims worldwide as a commemoration of Prophet Ibrahim's willingness to sacrifice his son Ismael for Allah.Others celebrate Eid-ul Adha as it marks the end of the Pilgrimage or Hajj for the millions of Muslims who make the trip to Mecca each year. Like Eid ul-Fitr, Eid ul-Adha also begins with a short prayer followed by a khutba. In Mecca, the Khutba is delivered from Mount Arafat.

It is celebrated on the 10th day of the month of Dhul Hijja (ذو الحجة) of the lunar Islamic calendar, after Hajj, the annual pilgrimage to Mecca in Saudi Arabia. This happens to be approximately 70 days after the end of the month of Ramadan.

Eid ul-Fitr is three days while Eid ul-Adha is four days long. Men, women, and children are expected to dress in their finest clothing and perform prayer (Salaa) in a large congregation called as Eid Ghah(worshing place for Eid). Muslims who can afford to do so sacrifice domestic animals, usually sheep, as a symbol of Ibrahim's sacrifice; this sacrifice is called "Qurban." The meat is equally distributed amongst themselves, their neighbours and relatives, and the poor and hungry. The regular charitable practices of the Muslim community are demonstrated during Eid ul-Adha by the concerted effort to see that no impoverished Muslim is left without sacrificial food during this day. Coming immediately after the Day of Mount Arafat when Muhammad (PBUH) pronounced the final seal on the religion of Islam, Eid ul-Adha gives concrete realization to what the Muslim community ethic means in practice. People in these days are expected to visit their relations, starting from their parents, then their families and friends.

Surah al-ʿAlaq (العلق"The Clot"), is the 96th sura or chapter of the Qur'an. It is composed of 19 Ayat (verses or "signs"), and is traditionally believed to have been revealed at Mecca at cave Hira. It is sometimes also known as Sūrat al-Iqrā (إقرا, "Read").

পাঠ করুন আপনার পালনকর্তার নামে যিনি সৃষ্টি করেছেন

সৃষ্টি করেছেন মানুষকে জমাট রক্ত থেকে।

অথবা খোদাভীতি শিক্ষা দেয়।

আপনি কি দেখেছেন, যদি সে মিথ্যারোপ করে ও মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয়।

সে কি জানে না যে, আল্লাহ দেখেন?

কখনই নয়, যদি সে বিরত না হয়, তবে আমি মস্তকের সামনের কেশগুচ্ছ ধরে হেঁচড়াবই-

মিথ্যাচারী, পাপীর কেশগুচ্ছ।

অতএব, সে তার সভাসদদেরকে আহবান করুক।

আমিও আহবান করব জাহান্নামের প্রহরীদেরকে

কখনই নয়, আপনি তার আনুগত্য করবেন না। আপনি সেজদা করুন ও আমার নৈকট্য অর্জন করুন।

Salam Ramadhan

Al-Quran nul Karim.

Bulan Ramadhan memiliki kekhususan dengan Al-Qura'nul Karim, sebagaimana firman Allah:

"Bulan Ramadhan, yang di dalamnya diturunkan permulaan Al-Qur'an ... "

[Al-Baqarah: 185]

Firman Allah Ta'ala :

" Sesungguhnya telah datang kepadamu cahaya dari Allah, dan kitab yang menerangkan. Dengan kitab itulah Allah menunjuki orang-orang yang mengikuti keredhaan-Nya ke jalan keselamatan, dan (dengan kitab itu pula) Allah mengeluarkan orang-orang itu dari gelap gelita kepada cahaya yang terang benderang dengan seizin-Nya dan menunjuki mereka ke jalan yang lurus.
