Jesuitenkirche (Iglesia de los Jesuitas) de Viena está inspirada directamente en la Iglesia del Gesù de Roma.
Fue construida entre 1614 y 1655 en estilo barroco y su suntuosa decoración es un testimonio del poder de los Jesuitas que, en el s. XVII, suprimieron toda influencia protestante en Austria. El maestro del trampantojo, Andrea Pozzo, autor de la Apoteosis de San Ignacio en Roma, fue el encargado de esta importante obra arquitectónica en la que decoró la cúpula y el púlpito, que cuenta con bellas marqueterías de nácar.
La nef centrale et le chœur.
Le rez-de-chaussée est encore gothique archaïsant, par contre les étages supérieurs de la nef et du chœur , transept exclu, ont été rebâtis dans les années 1730 dans les formes de l'âge classique. Il en est de même pour toutes les voûtes hautes pour lesquelles, en plein milieu du XVIIIe siècle, on a conservé la structure gothique de la croisée d'ogives, seul le décor exprime l'époque et a le caractère baroque des édifices du Nord de la France

The Church of Santos Passos, also known as Church of Our Lady of Consolation, was built by the Brotherhood of Our Lady of Consolation and Santos Passos to the architect Andrés Soares at the beginning of the 18th century.
The Church, located in Guimarães, was built in the same place where a small chapel existed since the 16th century.
The imposing temple is topped by two towers added in the middle of the century. XIX, by an architect from Oporto. The staircase and the balustrade are also from that time.
The altarpiece of the chancel is of classical inspiration from the end of the 19th century. XVIII, with painting to imitate the marble.

In the church St. Medard & St. Gildard, in the village Crépon, Normandy, France.
The church originally dates back to the early 11th century, it had Gothic features in the 14th century - and went through some heavy renovation and remodeling in the 19th century. It is a very sweet church, but they have a severe problem with damp (the green on the floor is what you think it is), and that is quite sad to see.

An aisle is more specifically a passageway to either side of the nave that is separated from the nave by colonnades or arcades, a row of pillars or columns. Like in many Gothic churches, the aisles' roofs of St Bavo’s cathedral are lower than that of the nave, allowing light to enter through clerestory windows.
In inside of this awe inspiring Cathedral in the heart of Ottawa, gives rise to respect and reverence. Quiet and colorful, the architecture is amazing.
