With the influx of staycationers to Skye this year it seems that just about anything has been turned into accommodation - this is one of the various caves that had apparently been used by Bonnie Prince Charlie when he fled from his defeat at Culloden during the Jacobite uprising in 1746. This cave, on the Skye coast south of Elgol, is nicely decorated with lovely ferns and enjoys wonderful views. But prospective tenants beware - there is no wifi and access to your accommodation is restricted at high tide!

Mango, from next door, is taking a vacation in Ray's tree-house which has been vacant for some time . Shaggy has now returned to her home after a few months in the poly-home , while Fifi is still in her shelter under our herb table. Smuggly appears now and again but doesn't stay. Our cats seem to get on with all of them.
After a day of rain, wind and cloud we arrived at our Airbnb in the lovely Suffolk village of Ufford and then the sun came out just after 6pm. We quickly unpacked and headed for one of two local pubs for a reviving pint!

Book a night or two at this desert Airbnb and enjoy endless vistas of the Arabian Desert. It's reputed that Aladdin stayed here for a night on his quest for the magic lamp.

Chad and I took a weekend trip to Montreal and stayed in a wonderful Airbnb while we were there. I love Airbnb so much, I have stayed in so many nice apartments throughout Europe and Canada, it's such a great opportunity to stay in a interesting neighbourhood while in a new city. But since I didn't bring a tripod with me for the weekend, the best option seemed to be a mirror shot in our place!
