An unexpected visitor to todays cricket match, apparently the field makes a convenient landing area.
The air ambulance landed at Peterborough NVR today. Shot this one at take off with high shutter speed to freeze the blades, probably could of pumped it up by another 200.
I was driving back in olean, ny when the Mercy Flight land at Olean General Hospital. When I took the pictures, I was trying to get the thunderheads in the picture.

SCAA currently operates two helicopters, both Airbus Eurocopter EC135-T2is, and one rapid response vehicle - taking expert paramedic care to the scene of time-critical emergencies, whether it be on a road, in a field or at someone’s home. SCAA then transports patients to specialist hospitals to receive the most appropriate advanced care.

SCAA air ambulances complement the state-funded aircraft that also operate across Scotland.[2] A Eurocopter EC135 is based at Perth Airport. A second EC135 operates from Aberdeen Airport. Both are crewed by one or two SAS paramedics who are tasked from the SAS ambulance control centre at Cardonald. As of May 2013, they have flown 5,200 missions
