This house boat on the backwaters of Kerala left our house boat in the dust. He was in a hurry, perhaps to pick up new guests! Most of the house boats have been renovated from old rice barges. They come in all shapes and sizes and some are quite elegant. All are very comfortable inside.

Today is a blue day at Color my world Daily and the theme at Looking close on Friday is curves.
Curves are everywhere and it is a very well know fact. But behind each curve there might be another one. Don’t get discourage if the road ahead is curvy… Eventually you will get to the end… it might get a little bit longer due to a greater amount of curves but don’t give up ! And what is more worth seeing and exploring than a panoramic, curvy road while bike riding ? Nothing, in my opinion !

Today is a green day at Color my World Daily and lets celebrate with another picture form my Little Prince series…
This weekend I’m pretty busy, since one of my own Little Prince isn’t so little anymore… My youngest son, Borys, will celebrate his 11th birthday this weekend. And since he is a Little Prince fan and truly an old soul, this picture is perfect for the occasion.
Since there is some serious drinking involved (for the adults, not for Borys !!) with each birthday at my house, it is very, very possible that I will not be able to answer your comments (I will publish as usual since I already have my pictures !! "Yeah me", for being addicted to Flickr !!). Don’t worry my friends, I'm alive but probably trying to recover from a massive hungover before Monday...

These railroad tracks run alongside the Colorado River (on the left here, sitting below/between the gravel bank and the sagebrush) and the road, to the right of the tracks. It's a dramatic experience if a driver happens to be cruising along one of the tight corners of the road at the same time as an oncoming train!
Dead ahead this Sailboat manuevers into Vancouver Harbour, BC.
Obviously, avoiding the storm that was brewing

Because I'd just climbed over it. I was having a really weird and unpleasant day health-wise and hadn't intended to take a photograph at all, but saw this and nipped over the fence on the track to a farm building and snapped it with my phone. Then I painted it, of course ! Things are a bit better now, so here we are !
A bit late for Fence Friday but never mind, there are no fences in my picture LOL. Happy Fence Friday and all the days ahead everyone !

A detached house at the end of a road where all the others are semi-detached. It has a bit of land too, so I'd imagine that this will be demolished and several houses will rise from the site.
